I don't think it's always a short term diet. Every time I try and step out of a Low FODMAP diet I'm overwhelmed with excruciating pain and illness. Thank you for your recipes tho! Can't wait to try

Desiree has saved me several times. Now she is saving me as I just received a possible IBS diagnosis. My GI suggested I follow a FODMAP diet. That's it. I am on my own. Desiree was the first person I thought of for resources and nutritional guidelines. I am so grateful for her. I know she won't steer me wrong and I won't starve. LOL

There's actually a few vegan low fodmap KZbinrs too. Irritable vegan and wild gut project are good ones and I'm not vegan but they have awesome recipes. (wild gut is going to be a dietician and has a meal building plan thing in their website to print off for free that's very helpful.)

According to both Monash University and FODMAP Friendly, cherry tomatoes are low FODMAP and you can safely enjoy them 45g (3 tomato) serves (1 4).

Cheese on top of noodle salad sounds really good! I'm really so screwed. I am allergic to soy. It make my throat swell up. It seems like the go to for a lot of nutrients. Can't make a lot of recipes without soy from most websites for vegan, fodmap. Then only garlic and onion oil. So, I can't buy a lot of sauces. I have to make them, making the work of a safe diet for my IBS much harder.

I'm in Ottawa, Canada. Can anyone recommend a low fodmap vegan yogurt? My go-to used to be Yoso unsweetened coconut yogurt but I just realized it contains inulin and chicory which are high in fodmaps! I do not live close to Whole Foods. I am in the East end of Ottawa. Any recommendations? I am not a fan of vegan yogurts that have a weird / funky aftertaste and a lot of them do!

i buy the Yoso coconut yogurt as well and it usually goes down pretty well for me :) you can try incorporating it regardless since the inulin and chicory quantities are probably not that significant
