I've been using Lumen for 2 weeks now. I don't work out yet and I do fast because of the nature of my job... I get nothing but 1s no matter what i eat now because Lumen showed me that if i eat pasta or rice (doesn't matter the type) I will blow 3-5. Once i discovered that rice and pasta were hurting my goals, i cut them. No matter what i eat now... doesn't show up on the Lumen. I always blow 1s... all day, every day. no matter what i eat now. I have a medical license and this has been the easiest weight loss solution for me.

no matter what i eat, even if just a few bites of low carb vegetables/protein, i blow a 5. even when i was at a 1 prior to those few bites. so it’s crazy discouraging to hear that You can do this.

No none ever talks about 16 hour fasting where the eating window is 8am-4pm. I’m super hungry in the morning and never an evening snacker so that works better for me. And I’m sure I could just do that but no one ever does! It’s always break fast at noon- I would die😂

Eating earlier in the day is actually better! I think a lot of people just find it easier to skip breakfast and have dinner with family in the evenings. You do you!

FASTING for 16 hours, consistently, is dangerous. This is nothing but a quack gizmo. Tell you what - spend $14 and order "Intuitive Eating" - it's a BOOK! It will teach you how to pay attention to your body. No subscriptions needed!

AAAAAAAAAAAH. Everything is a subscription now. Great idea, great device - but tying it to a subscription is infuriating. Sell the device as is and tie value added services to the subscriptions - it is not that hard.

I agree. I just checked it out and the minimum was 6 months subscription. I'll pass. I lost 15 pounds on my own and will do the rest on my own switching every 6 weeks from keto, to carnivore, to carb cycling, to vegetarian, mediterranean, pescatarian, ovo-vegetarian, paleo... they ALL work: a matter of sticking with the rules of each one. They are ALL easy to sustain for 6 weeks (sometimes I go for 8 weeks) and fast 14 hours daily and low intensity exercise daily and weight training 3 times/week. Sleeping well and daily exposure to outdoors.
