@@user-ct8zg4nb3g In some cases, a smartphone can have features to medical alert systems. The Jitterbug Smart4, for example, has an urgent response button that can connect you to professional monitoring agents. The primary downside with this is that the smartphone is a bit more complicated to use (a touchscreen with multiple buttons/controls vs. a medical alert system with only one physical button). However, for many people this is sufficient.

Son set it up today for me. Heard something from it a few minutes ago. Volume is so low I couldn't hear it. No idea where son put the manual 3:30 am. How do I turn it up? 24/7 help is a joke. Called them. Message to call back tomorrow. Hope no one is showing up here
