I was very much like you in the past until I meet my husband, and then I realized I was not really the problem. Exactly! Unfortunately, you and I know this first hand. Isolation is a key component. Then, you, as the victim, start to feel shame like it is something you have caused or that you deserve. It’s heartbreaking. Another thing I noticed, which is also very telling, is that you actually SEE Johnny withdraw into himself here. His posture went from that laid back, attentive, and confident posture to appearing to want to hide. He just shrank into himself. His whole demeanor changed when she mentioned how they would always run and hide at home when they were growing up.
@Kitten_Brat76012 жыл бұрын
Exactly, yes I feel you. They isolate you so they have even more control over you, so it’s just you and them. It becomes easier to believe everything they tell you. Growing up with a mom that acts exactly like her I think is why I always felt like her accusations weren’t true. My dad was withdrawn from everyone, hid from her by going on long business trips or just hiding in their room, flinching anytime she got too close, etc. And when she couldn’t get him, she’d come at me instead. The lying, screaming, physical assaults, everything. Especially when she wasn’t on any medication, which she wasn’t my entire childhood basically. (Granted my mom had different psychological issues from Heard) Abusers don’t care about anything but hurting their victims and getting some power trip out of it. Some don’t even care who they hurt, just that they hurt them. Getting out of those situations is never easy and I genuinely hope Johnny will find some peace out of all this and I’m so happy he has his sister in his corner. #JusticeForJohnny

This case is a catalyst for change encouraging men who are abused by their partners to speak out and, more importantly, to immediately lay charges against their abusers. My brother was attacked by his partner and came to my apartment after being punched and scratched in the face and on the neck. He just wanted a place to stay. It was heartbreaking to see him look ashamed of his appearance. I took him to the police station to lay charges against her for assault. I sued her for smashing the back window of his vehicle which he was paying off, but which was still registered in my name! She lost and had to pay. Thankfully it ended the relationship completely! Men must never ever be ashamed to speak out!

Because the more successful you are outwardly, the more you will try to hide and feel shame about what you see as your failures in life and relationships. There was a time when everyone thought Johnny Depp had it all, but this just goes to show you that keeping silent only makes the abusers stronger. I'm so proud of him as a human being. This case reminds me of my brother and his ex girlfriend. She was so fucking toxic, she literally ruined my brother, emotionally and mentally so much so that he tried to committ suicide. Thankfully we found him and took him to the hospital in time. Before he met her, he was a fun loving person. He never drank or smoked, never even had a girlfriend and was such a shy quiet kid. But after their relationship, he started drinking and doing drugs. Poor guy sold his bike to buy her clothes, would always be stressed and was always worrying that he might make her mad. I am honestly so glad that they separated. His new girlfriend now is a blessing and total opposite of her. It makes me mad that people just blatantly accuse Jhonny of being a wife beater just because he is a man. Men can be victims of domestic violence too.

The simple fact that she knew he needed an “escape room” when he was with Turd and not anyone else says alot. Especially since she said she didn’t see them together a lot bc he quit coming around as often..But when she said “he just looked sad. Like a sadder person.” It broke me 💔 bc you could see & hear how much it hurt her. She loves her brother and it hurts her to see him go through all of that…Amber Turd is a monster no matter how you look at it. She is 5’7 130ish lbs of pure fucking evil. She has abused so many people in her past “not just Johnny.” She has lied so many times to soo many different people NOT including the men & women of the jury & she thinks all this is funny.. She is an absolute lunatic… I hope for Johnny’s sake that this trial is over soon so he doesn’t have to continue being in a room with the woman who hurt him & lied about it. I hope it’s over so she can finally get what’s coming to her for all her lies and bs. I’m so glad people Johnny is getting to tell his story and people are FINALLY seeing Turd’s true colors. I hope that once this is all over with she can no longer work as an actress (I mean she was never a good one anyway so 🤷🏻♀️) and I hope she is miserable for the rest of her days. Bc you can’t abuse people & lie to people & just walk away like nothing happened. She’s lucky she isn’t facing jail time for the abuse & is only having to pay the $ bc she absolutely deserves a prison cell. But that’s not going to happen so I hope she walks out of that courthouse knowing that she just lost EVERYTHING. Knowing she will NEVER be popular in the celebrity world again bc she deserves every bit of it.

I did not see him hit Amber. Did you? How many times do we need to show that Johnny is an alcoholic and drug addict and has a temper … especially when his buttons are pressed? @TheHomesteadingHobbit2 жыл бұрын
@Griffin Mathers what in all that is good and holy made you think my comment warrented your absured response? How do you know I'm from the US? And you obviously didn't get the meaning to my comment. Yes he may be 60, but he is still a person who's not only been traumatized, but had lies spread around the world about him that pretty much killed his career. When I say he must be protected, I mean we as a society need to freaking be better at things we say, making sure we are kind, compassionate and most of all truthful. Your comment is a major reason I say things like that. Jeez get off your high horse and move along if you don't like what people say. And yes, I actually am a proud american and will always stand for those who need it. Even if they own their own island and are 60 years old. 😒

Whaaat? His violent and disturbing texts to Paul Bettany and Elton John alone show that it's young women who need protecting from him. He gets older, Winona, Kate and Vanessa get older but the women he dates are always young and frail looking. Shows he needs a power imbalance.

@@LH-kr4od no doubt he needs serious intensive therapy, as does her. But texts don't induce violence. Actions do. I am Always joking around with friends and our texts would make us look like we belong in an asylum. Doesn't mean we are guilt of something. Amber on the other hand, has ADMITTED to hitting and punching him. He was gaslit as well which could signify even more emotional distress. Doesn't mean he's physically abusive. 🤷♀️

I can't look at Amber Heard. I don't know this person but her Pokerface, the little nuances when the sister is saying something. You can see and feel that she knows exactly what she did and that she does not like the current situation. The more I see and hear from Johnny, his reactions and how he tells everything is not acting. For sure he is acting but not in a way of lying, but being honest about every bit and open to tell the world what happened. I really hope that this also gives him strength and peace.

Actually her facial expression is more like ”yeah i know i did that, it’s all true, but i kinda regret it now, he tried to be good to me” It’s what happens to many women in life actually, narcissistic princess behaviour because of their looks. But at some point they realize they are shit human beings and try to be better, at that point it’s too late for them.

Trust me it's hiding... if you've ever been around anyone abusive or had parents who are even just emotionally, mentally and psychologically abusive you know the frenzy they can send you in and how they create mental health issues within you especially PTSD and Anxiety, the way they do it is SO frightening, threatening and terrible that all you want to do is look for the nearest exit to hide from them... I do the same thing where i'll sit on the floor of my room with my back to the door to stop anyone getting in and i used to lock myself in the bathroom and my system was sent into total overdrive and anxiety where by the end of it after 2 hours of them going away and calming down i was SO worn out and tired they upset me and made me feel SO cornered and threatened cos i was trapped, and it's never them it's always you... and somehow you're throwing a paddy like a 5 year old child when you haven't been 5 for a long time... It's not just locking yourself in a bathroom for safety not feeling safe in your own home it's what it does to your body and mind and with your Fight or Flight instincts majorly kicking in, in an unusual way you know who you are... and you would never hurt someone... but they're trying to make you feel like a convict and trying to get you to harm them as somehow proof that you're the evil person, it's disgusting.

yeah. to some, undergoing gruelling, hours-long arguments, is the only way you can show them you love them. Argueing is fine, sometimes, as a release, and working things out (communication) is absolutely necessary, but there's a difference when you're being steamrolled just for fun (control) Ironically, talking things through is never an option. I feel some kind of sadness for Amber as well; she's a victim of her childhood just like Johnny.
@mangerinegirl2 жыл бұрын
I was very immature in my early twenties, and I remember having arguments with my husband where I kept wanting to discuss a problem and he wanted me to stop talking. It made me so angry when he’d just walk out of the house and go for a drive right in the middle of a fight. Years later, during our divorce, he explained to me that every time he did that it was because if he didn’t leave, he was going to hit me. He never once did, and I never feared that he might. My point here is to agree that walking away from a fight isn’t hiding-sometimes it’s the only way to shut someone up. I totally understand why Johnny would need a second room to escape to when he’s with a woman who constantly wants to argue or manipulate.

@pat mckinzie Lol what a bullshit comment. Struggling with drug addiction doesn't disqualify someone from being a role model wtf. People you like are among the worst. Like to judge as people's flaws are what define them, which is ironically how narcissists think. One of the biggest role models in my hometown was a drug addict and is open about the struggles he faced during those years and how blessed he is to have found salvation and deliverance from such shackles. I know my words will fall on deaf ears (or blind eyes), but the point is no human, let-alone role model, is without their own personal baggage judging the next person as if that's the culmination of their worth is not only hypocritical, but fallacious at the very core.

How rude and very cruel to call your husband “Old fat man”. One does not stay young forever. The way you look now Amber is the way Johnny once looked at one time and the way he looks now is the way you will look one day! The thing about Johnny he has gotten older and has aged very gracefully. He’s a beautiful man inside and out. You may be beautiful in the outside but you sure are rotten in the inside. Learn to be kind.

What about fantasizing about burning your wife alive and "r*ping her burnt corpse to make sure she is dead"? Is that rude and very cruel, or is it okay to do that because it's said to Amber Heard, a woman who has shown sufficient proof of 12 abuse cases from Johnny, by Johnny, who has dated a teenager?

I come from a broken home myself. And I'll never forget one Christmas. My parents were fighting. I watched my father pin my mother under a kitchen chair and she had to fight her way out. I sat there balling. Then my parents tried to comfort me by telling me it was ok, and to open my Christmas gifts. These things stay with you. And y'all are right, Amber clearly is the abusive one in this case. I can't believe what Johnny's been through. I feel so bad for him. Good Luck Johnny! And please know that you have many people in your corner. The amount in AH's corner is few and far between. This woman needs to be blacklisted in Hollywood immediately! .

A must add that probably 1 comment here in this thread disappeared for some reasons (may be removed by author himself) and I referred to it in my comment. An author wrote among others that an artist, actor needs calm, peaceful atmosphere to perform this "job" (cause it's not ordinary job). So I added that I agree cause I know that this factor is also very important in several other professions, as eg. scientist or writer.
