How should I handle the fact that I am the only one putting effort to heal our problems in marriage? I constantly check in, communicate when I notice something is off, read marriage help books, watch videos (such as this one) on KZbin, and try my best to apply the tactics in marriage. But just like you said, “you can’t control your spouse’s behavior, you can only control your own”. I have requested that we work as a team. I have asked if he could please put a little more effort into trying, but it’s likes he wants to stay in the same ruts we’ve always been in. He tells me vocally he’ll try, but his actions never follow. It hurts and makes me feel like he doesn’t care enough about me to try. He says a lot with his words, but his actions are always hurtful.

L S, you will have to decide if this is enough for you. What is it you really want and will your husband be able to give it to you? Do you want to be in this marriage if nothing changes? Tough questions but when you decide the answers, your path will be clear.

This short video is packed with exactly what you need to not only save a marriage but thrive in one. Yes it takes two but you can start today by implementing these changes and when your partner sees that change; maybe they will be willing to adopt in their lives as well.

Arzoo Kabul, you don't control how the other person feels and what they put into the marriage. Get clear on what you control and what you don't, then decide what you want to do about the things you do control. www.drpauljenkins.com/breakthroughcall.

Why the obsession about "saving a marriage"? If something takes so much effort and so much ego work, causing you to feel like you're trapped and oppressed, why the hell save it?
@LiveOnPurposeTV
@LiveOnPurposeTV 3 жыл бұрын
Khaled Alothman, It is like I always say, it isn't a choice until you see it as a choice. It takes some people a while and they want to know they have done everything they could have before leaving.
