I’ve just been diagnosed with liver cysts, I’ve had pain and swelling in my liver for some time now.. I asked my Dr for an ultrasound, thinking I had a fatty liver, however liver cysts were found. Great video! Many thanks from sharing. The only issue with NAC from what I understand is that it can greatly increase your risk of forming kidney stones. If you are not a kidney stone former, it may not be issue, but if you are a kidney stone former, it can spell trouble. One way around that is to consume large amounts of Vitamin C with NAC. Unfortunately excessive Vitamin C in and of itself at tye levels recommend to take with NAC in and of itself can also greatly increase your risk of forming kidney stones, so catch 22.

Hello, the term "lesion" can also mean tumour or mass. The important thing is to determine whether it's benign or malignant. Benign liver lesions are very common and are generally not a cause for concern. Malignant liver lesions, however, require intervention and treatment.

It is important to monitor cysts with an ultrasound scan every 12 months. Had a liver cyst the size of a grapefruit in me in Aug '23. Didn't even know it was there until I started feeling minor pain as I bent down to tie up my shoes. Doctor referred me for ultrasound, but the cyst "ruptured" that night after seeing doc. I have had kidney stones before, but the pain from the ruptured cyst was twice as bad. I crawled to the bathroom, as I knew I was going to be sick. I ending up lying on a freezing cold bathroom floor, just wearing my jocks and hoping to die. My wife called for ambulance, which took forever. I just kept asking her to please just "knock me out" with a blunt force to the head or something. Got it aspirated (drained) a couple of days later. Ended up being 1300ml of fluid. Scary thing is, it has re-filled and I had another 750ml drained this week, only 8 months later.
