Liverpool people need to run their own City and should not by an ivory tower in London

Liverpool City Council is in turmoil, at levels not witnessed since the 80's and yet, we will soon re-elect the same people and party that brought about this financial debacle. For the last 12 years the Labour Party in Liverpool has not had a viable alternative to gain votes against them, this is due to the Lib Dems only being able to gain around 30 names to run for the 90 Council seats, this has clearly created a Council; that has delivered its own rules and now they are running investigations upon themselves, into clear fraud and corruption please look to the Max Caller report, which was delivered to the Houses of Parliament by both the Labour and Conservative party.

Until now there has been no viable alternatives, but in May of 2023 if the people decide that they wished to gain that alternative, then we should stand up and be counted to stand against the clear tyranny of an officially declared corrupt Council, that still has the same mechanism that supported these fraudulent actions and ensured that our Cities politicians gave away millions of pounds of its assets to their friendships, this sadly is an undeniable fact.
