Looks like you are doing well this summer! Nice video my man. My home lake is very cyclical for crappie and unfortunately we seem to be in a bust year. There is still plenty of small fish but man what I would do to catch a dozen 12 inchers right now! I might have travel a bit to make some new videos 🤔

I gotta admit that I am very, very lucky to live on a lake with good-sized, hungry crappie! They grow all year long. I have seen some of the hawgs on your lake! TIGHT LINES!!

@@bigcatchfishingmississippi yea we grow them big here it’s just the amount of time it takes to grow them and the spawn can be unpredictable. Good spawn year will make for excellent fishing about 5 years later.

I use DJI Osmo 4 with DJI wireless mike. I used to use gopro, but I got tired of them constantly overheating, and being undependeable. Hope that helps. TIGHT LINES!!

What do you do when the crappie chase your bait then stop right under it? Been struggling with all summer long

I haven't figured that out yet!! Summertime fishing with high water temps seems to turn off the bite. They are not willing to commit to eating it. I will twitch it and change up the retrieve. Most of the time I will just target different fish and not waste time on it. Very frustrating! Hey if you figure it out let me know!! Thanks, and TIGHT LINES!!

Yeah, it is a tough time to fish. Dawn and dusk are sometimes good. You can see them, but tough to trigger a bite. Hope they turn on soon! TIGHT LINES!!
