I say same thing when hurricanes bear down on FL. I especially enjoy watching the shrapnel rolling down the streets and people crying their eyes out when they lose everything. Well you want the warmth now your paying for it.

Except we have many snowplows and salters at our disposal to control it. They don't have that luxury down south. Plows are few and far between down there and with such a wide-spread snow storm they can't be everywhere at the same time.

@@walker4133 - Last month we had some heavy snow in the high desert area. From Tahachapi Pass near Bakersfield all the way down to the El Cajon Pass near Hesperia. Hwy 58, Hwy 395, and even i-5 was shut down for a while due to heavy snow. I got stuck in this mess.

@@DirtStarMaster your correct. The model 3 has rear wheel. The model 3 with 4wd has 'dual motor' plastered on the back of their trunk. That way you can tell witch is witch....if the customer decide to keep those letters for all to see that is.

When I worked, I let all my bosses know, I'm going home at the first snowflake and if I lost my job, oh well, I had kids to take care of and a life to live. This was after experiencing 2 horrible driving in snow/ice disasters in the past. I never waivered. I never got fired. Please stay off the roads. You may be able to handle it, but the out of control car beside or in front of you can't!

St Louis, on avg gets 18 inches of snow a year. When it does snow, it's usually 1 - 3 inches at a time. Some winters, we barely get any snow at all. And yes, we can be Gawd awful drivers in this mess because we don't get enough "practice" in it. I've lived here all my life, so I know from first hand experience.

Good samaritans pushing a persons car but also dangerous. Another car coming towards you unable to stop in this weather is bad news. Happened to a young mother I know and she lost both legs when a car smashed into her on a rainy night when she was helping someone by pushing their car.

Missouri is hardly a Southern state. And we have salt, and brine solution too. But when it's 2°F, it doesn't work that well, and it snowed hard from 10am to 7pm.

Missouri has salt and plows. But temperatures below 10 degrees with salt just makes it more wet. In STL it was just above zero all day and salt is just useless at that point. Here in Chicago it was the same thing they salt and plow, I wish they would not salt below a certain temperature because dry snow is easier to drive then wet icy snow. But people in the NE have no clue about subzero weather or driving in it.

Um alot of accident happen when you stop in the fast lane if you're having trouble on the roads alot of magger car crashing happens because you made a great A mistake stopping in the fast lane ? Why probably because roads seem dangerous so merge to the slow lane but don't stop in the fast lane if don't have to.? You then loose trackchine and speed and could likely get stuck in those Lane's? (Merge over to slow lane don't stop in fast lanes thoughs are we're magger grade A accidents usually happens) then get off freeway try using side road.
