Dr. Dan, I randomly found you googling "how soon can I return to hiking after liver resection surgery". You are so helpful and an inspiration! I had 40% of my liver removed January 2nd/2024 (metastatic BC took a detour into my liver) and they removed it successfully. I felt like a million soon after. Three nights in hospital and then home again. Gosh, your post from two years ago was so informative! Answered my shoulder pain. Side effects were minimal and no pain meds needed after day 4. Today feeling terrific. But my issue is hiking. Daily I've done 2.5 km up a minimal elevation and back. I'm desperate to get back at it. Given I live in pain denial I wonder what I should be looking for in bodily symptoms' so I know when to stop and turn around. Keep up the inspiration! Wishing you continued wellness!

Oooof just you bending forward made my back hurt 😭😭😭I would worry if I did have the pain down my leg or paresthesias but I still feel w my disc bulges that I’m about to have incontinence at the slightest wrong roll over in bed!!! I am afraid to bend forward and do the stretches they want me to at PT. I feel like I need to go to warm aqua therapy and be handled gently like my last disc bulge exacerbation when I went to a specialty PT!! I’ve since moved and that’s not an option, and I also need my SI addressed bc the sacroilitis is quite bad. You are so right; I’m horrified of DJD, sciatica, my cancer having come back, and soondylosis!!

Wait this can help me even if I have a bulging disc and moderate to severe sacroilitis?!?! I need to buy the course oh my gosh!!! I am dying at work every day. And doing IVF after cancer tx unexpectedly ruined my eggs 7 years ago…aftwr 2 miscarriages. So I am very unwilling to take anything should I become pregnant. I’m not sure what to do and don’t think I can suffer through the pain for 9 months, especially with the extra weight. I’m about to buy this as a last hope and definitely join these lives if you are going to continue to do them!!!!! And you still lift?!?! Mine is definitely worse when I wake up!

I watched your live stream after it posted. Question, I have stenosis in my lower back. Most times I’m pain free but randomly, almost always when I get out of the car, my back will hurt as I step out and my legs go numb to the point I think I’m going to not walk. I push through but sometimes have to take a minute for the pain and numbness to leave. Then after a while it goes away. Will your course help the stenosis?
