Elaine explaining what it felt like to be finally looked at as someone attractive is so relatable. I wasn’t told I was sexy or beautiful or hot until I grow into myself at like 26, and all of a sudden I started getting attention and it made me really uncomfortable and I didn’t want to be known for those things? It’s weird. I had to grow to see myself as other things like deep, intelligent, funny, etc and I really didn’t know how to handle the attention. Emily is such a beautiful writer, and has a wonderful mind. She speaks so eloquently yet makes her points simple and to the fact. Her book was incredible and has me looking at my past present and future and asking myself some hard questions. Amazing interview! Energy between you two is great!
