Wow! I think you showing an example with the blue light on the transitioning glasses is smart! I had ordered a pair of Livho glasses and wondered if it was just a gimmick or if they were legit. This helps ease my mind. Thank you!

Hello, does zeiss dura vision platinum make us safe from blue light coming from laptop and smartphone?

No it does not. that's a great Anti-reflective coating but it's not a blue light coating.

Hi Oliver Do UV sunglasses having yellow colored lenses also filter blue light in the range 370-440 nm ?
@EyeInfluence5 жыл бұрын
Most lenses categorized as "sunglasses" should have enough color and be dark enough to block that range of blue light, yes.

Hello. I have been trying to find a good pair of computer/blue light glasses with a 100$ budget. I can’t seem to find any glasses with both. Do you have any recommendations?
@EyeInfluence5 жыл бұрын
$100 USD? there are quite a few. Spektrum Eyewear Pixel Kooper Barner Livho Those are all good choices. Just depends on the frame style and lens options you want.

7:02 Why is it important to block bluelight outdoors aswell? I dont get this point. Obviously you want to block the UV, which normal sunglasses perfectly do, but blocking the bluelight outdoors seems weird to me, as our body in fact needs the daylight and especially the natural bluelight coming from the sun to feel awake and energized. What are your thoughts on that?

I’m going to order a pair of these instead of $100 Felix grays. May as well try them. Thanks for the vid!

Well I got them today..they are nice frames and the magnetic part works great and look nice BUT when I put them on I felt like they were magnified..even my wife and a friend said the same thing. When I look out at the tree in the backyard I was putting glasses in front of eyes and then not a few times and the big branch definitely looked a little bigger or closer and moved to the right slightly. I didn’t like them, gave them to a friend who was liking them. Going to order the felix grey jemison and see how those are..hopefully good. Unless there is another pair around 20-40 that blocks blue light? I did try the laser and it they blocked all of it. The 20 pair from target was under half of what these were blocking. Just to bad it felt magnified to me...I know they are not, but felt like they were just a bit. Didn’t like them for that reason.
@EyeInfluence5 жыл бұрын
The lack of anti-reflective coating might have influence that feeling a little bit. Hard to say.

Can you please suggest a computer glasses for around 2000 RS . I am really having a hard time doing this
@npc51005 жыл бұрын
dude if you need computer glasses buy gunnar it's game changer. It helps your eyes to relax muscles after 2-3 days you will see what I'm talking about it will improve your vision and your eyes will bee feeling like new again. Just don't wear them all the time and only when you use pc. even when you go to toilet just let them rest on your desc. I spend abt 500 USd on different galsses I have 3 xiaomi glasses alot of blue light protection glasses from aliexpress, but only gunnar does the job. If you buy something else it's just waste of money. My advise keep saving.
@EyeInfluence5 жыл бұрын
2000 RS is about $28-30 USD and there are no computer glasses (lenses with power) at that price point. There are plenty of blue light filtering glasses but computer glasses need power. Gunnar ships worldwide so if you're able to increase your budget that would be a good choice for you.

Sir what do you think about the software F.lux And should we use it ?
@EyeInfluence5 жыл бұрын
I tried f.lux and found it to be awesome. Problem is, Windows 10 and the latest versions of mac OS have a built in blue light filter now. They have essentially eliminated the need to use a 3rd party.

Saw another video showcasing these Chinese mass produced blue light blockers that come with the "blue light" and they've claimed the blue light isn't actually blue and is used a con to show them working. Is UV and blue light the same? That LED could be a UV emitting diode and not blue light if they different which why it triggers your transition lenses.
