12:11 nice flower in your window and nice view :) If I was to make a guess I would say this is England's Lane, with the houses of the other side of the road being on Chalcot Gardens.

@@Edmund30s As for England's lane - the Starbucks on the corner used to be a Barclays Bank branch before - got robbed at gunpoint sometime in early 90s I think. There was also a Chinese restaurant on the road - forgot the name but I think it had 'moon' in the name maybe - owner disappeared and it was widely reported in the local press - Camden New Journal etc - some mob related doings. There was also a launderette - later on in life I used it a few times because UK is such a civilized country that washing machines are not necessarily available in rented accommodation lol. As for pubs check out if you already haven't Sir Richard Steeles on Haverstock Hill - spent many happy evenings there in the late 90s / early 2000s, then it closed but has now supposedly reopened. If you are out and about walking I would be interested on whats going on on Belsize Grove - used to live for a bit at the Straffan Lodge block on 1 Belsize Grove. Was pretty good and 'luxurious' (for Brit standards back in the days, which means nothing now lol) but now I am hearing it is kind of run down.

You are a walking encyclopaedia! I am mesmerised by all these old vignettes and history of the area - Barclays robbed at gunpoint?! Intimidating as well! Ofc I know Belsize Grove and the Lodge there which now relatively looks very old compared to other flats. But its still there:) pub info noted on my list and I laughed a lot out of your “civilised” London experience without laundry (those who haven’t lived in London would never believe what we say! Back in my college, some rooms and buildings didn’t have laundry machines🤣; I am sure they dont have them yet!) Thank you so much for sharing your past days and I hope you enjoyed my video. Please stay tuned to my channel🤗
