it's been a lovely past few weeks of may. i spent loads of time with friends, took my first french class, opened up my art shop, and celebrated my 21st birthday! very happy rn especially with summer coming around the corner. i wanted to try smthing a lil different with the color correcting and thumbnail for this video. a bit more simple. lmk what u think.

Hiii!! Happy birthday!! Im currently studying for my alevels but after the 20th of June i finally start my ‘adult life’! Since turning 18, the feeling of Adulthood hasn’t sunk in, even though im able to go out and drink etc so im hoping the release from college will reciprocate these new beginnings.but so ready to not be held back by constant work as im taking a gap year before uni. But this summer im just chillin, going on a few trips and just preparing for my big trip in Nov ( although this seems like a life time away). i’m turning 25 in less than week, and i try to think of this quote “growing old is a privilege not granted to many.” i also think about my classmate who passed away in 2009. she had a lot of health issues and her mom was our middle school bus driver. she was 12. i was 11 at that time but i still remember her. she was a very kind kid who wanted to be a vet since she loved animals. we got a letter informing us of her passing. immediately, our entire 6th grade class wrote her mom bereavement cards so I always think about her and her late daughter whenever I catch myself being hard on myself for comparing myself to not necessarily achieving specific things by a certain age.
