November is that transition month, one day we have snow, the next day the grass is green again. We live a simple life, but this doesn't mean life is always easy.
What I do for work in the northern parts of Sweden, herbal medicine harvest such as chaga and mind and much more you will see in this video
This video is extra special to me, because it is the first one made with my new camera and new editing program
I still have lots to learn but that is the fun of it, every shot I get better and better at it.
For many in sweden is it know that we have allemansrät- which means you can pick berries and mushrooms even in forests that are not yours
Many forests are privately owned
Chaga is not included in the allemansrät
Which we have to respect,
but i have to say this, forests are being cut down, many which have a high nature value, windpower is build in the middle of the forests, but taking a mushroom from a tree that will probally be cut down in the near future, is illegal?

I cannot watch another of your videos ... without commenting on your amazing sense of ‘belonging’. Everything in your productions ... the visuals, your presence and the way you conduct yourself, and the amazing music tracks and clean transitional editing ... all just seemingly ‘belong’ together, in a wonderful, peaceful harmony. I once wrote about music ‘singing for its supper if you give it stage’ ... and your productions and all you do in them provide amazing ‘stage’. I’m an old man on the other side of the world, but if we were neighbours I suspect we’d become good friends. Please keep doing what you are doing, you lift my spirits and remind me of the beauty we have in this world, and the shame that so many just do not see what is really important in this brief passage we call life.

Great video! I love all the music throughout the video, this was so relaxing to watch! Also, I really liked your comparison between health and the “warning lights” for a car and how the mechanic doesn’t always get to the root of the problem. I can really relate to that story. By the way, I love the quote at the beginning of this video as well! Very cool, nice work!🌈🌿

I am so glad I found your channel! Everything about what you do speaks to me. I have been an in home caregiver for the elderly for many years. I love it because the care varies from from person to person. One may need care for all of their basic needs and one may just need companionship and rides to appointments etc.... But what I love the most is the one on one connection I make with each person: sitting with them holding their hand and listening to the things they can’t share with family members. Holding that safe sacred place for them. I agree with you that it is so hard to watch all of the unnecessary medication taken or that so many symptoms could be eliminated with simple dietary changes. I know how hard and literally back breaking this work is but know that the beautiful bright healing energy you bring to them is felt even if you think they are not fully cognizant.❤️ Your videos are beautiful and I love your dogs! ✨✨

Thank you soo much❤️ yes so true, many want the quick temporary fix, and that is exactly what the modern medicine do. What many dont know is everytime we take medicine we make our body weaker, lazier. Until will be depended on medicine. In some cases i absolutely praise modern medicine, they do things that herbs cant do as quickly, but if we live healthier, adres the smaller sympoms there will be less need to take pills✨ much love to you❤️

Love your honesty and from the heart talk! Here in New Hampshire USA we have birch trees and harvest chaga with respect to not take all of it😁 We make tea from it. Thank you soo much❤️ i do the same, that way the chaga will still grow and keeps on giving❤️😍 I havent found reishi yet/dont know if it grows here, but i would like to harvest reishi in the wild one day! I use it mostly to strenghten my body and mind, when i feel like my energy or body is not strong enough- in any way- i turn to chaga❤️ This is because i feel that the chaga keeps the birches how have it hard alive, it actually strenghtens them.

While I know it must be frustrating not being able to care for your patients in the holistic way you have been trained, at least you are able to help them far more than you originally expected. Caring for our elders is such an important responsibility... just as important as raising young children. After all, they are the ones who took care of us, and now it becomes our responsibility to take care of them later in life. We share some similarities. I moved to Alaska for many of the same reasons you moved to Sweden. And I built my house on a mountainside over 11 years, using many salvaged materials that would have otherwise been thrown away. Not only did this save lots of money, but those materials still have value and a purpose other than filling a landfill. It's so sad how much we waste and throw away. Your beautiful new table will always be a reminder of this fact.
@Neya-RobertSant
@Neya-RobertSant 3 жыл бұрын
Yes, i feel that too❤️ i sometimes feel sad for some, have lived their lives around their work, working hard everyday and now their bodies dont do what they want. It is a great honer to be allowed to help them with that they cant do anymore, and lightup the things they can! I have to be honest, i am drawn to alaska, i feel the live and nature there are even more wild and quiet. Can you share with me how your life is there🌲? I love the fact you build that way!! It is true, with this fast living life and everything having to be, better, faster, prettier. We loose sight of what is really important❤️ Much love to you
@mikek2218
@mikek2218 3 жыл бұрын
@@Neya-RobertSant Thanks Whitney for being interested in my life in Alaska. This is your channel and I don’t want to divert attention with my story. So I will give a few general comments, but know that you can always send me an e-mail if you want to know more. Alaska is still very remote and wild compared to anything in Europe/Scandinavia. Very little of this land has any roads, so access to much of Alaska is by small bush plane and boat. The lack of roads is what saves this land from being completely devastated. But where roads do exist, there have been alarming changes in the 25 years that I have lived here. The population has doubled, and I will never understand how people will destroy what they claim to love. The small town where I live has changed dramatically, and this is a familiar story in other parts of Alaska as well. This is always a result of people looking to get rich by exploiting the land and natural resources… very disheartening. This greedy behavior always seems to be worse in the United States. At least in Europe there is so little wilderness left that what still remains is mostly cherished by people like you. But here it is taken for granted and exploited. I see it disappearing before my eyes. So yes, there is still wonderful true wilderness to be found here, but there are also unacceptable and unnecessary negative impacts happening at an accelerating rate.

Like many others you love to spend your life in the forest, but principle involved must be based on "simultaneously both have to survive". Forest provide you resources which you exploit to save your life. Since resources are consumable, hence it's your duty to renew it by means of plantations, afforestation, conservation, precautions and disaster management if possible. Use dead and dried trees for fulfilment of your needs. Never desolate the forest even partially and clean its vegetation on a large scale because it results in soil erosion anywhere in rainy seasons and after winter streams formed due to melting of snow; and it causes landslides in mountainous forests.

Hiya, from Ireland, videos are very interesting , great work you are helping the elderly.. Compassion it's hard work but worth it.. Maybe you are praising nature too much and not crediting our creator God your eternal Father in heaven for all the things seen and unseen, even to breathe air is a gift of life.. remember also him, who gave us our planet earth as a gift, - to show his love for us, and remember this he so loved the world that he would give us our saviour jesus to die for our sins on the cross on calvary.. Such a beautiful place you live in. Here we don't really get a lot of snow and it never stays long. The UK grinds to a halt at the first sign of snow. You are so right in what you say, most modern medicine just covers symptoms and doesn't help the actual problem. In fact I do believe it can make it worse. We are so disconnected from our Mother Earth, we no longer live in harmony with her seasons, fake light, fake time, no greenery and no connection to our land or food. We have forgotten who we are and I'm sure our ancestors weep at the state of the world we inhabit today. We have arrogantly tried to change our planet to suit our needs instead of working in harmony with her. Now the entire planet is reaping the rewards of such stupidity and unless we change our approach then we are going to find ourselves in a dire situation. Keep on making your videos, they're needed. Many Blessings to you xXx

Thank you so much❤️✨🌲 hahah same in the netherlands, it was always a disaster when a bit of snow came. I feel so too, some need it to survive, but i wonder how many symptoms they ignored before. Some people are born ill or when we get very sick, some medication can safe you life. But otherwise nature provides soo much for us, so many medicine. Exactly! The noise pollution is i feel a thing not many talk about. Together with constant lights, artificial foods and so. Love your words of wisdom thank you so much❤️

Hi. That's amazing what you do. I would say that the elderly clients find you so refreshing, trusting and peaceful to be with. I disagree with chemical medicines, I never take any all my life so I fight through migraines with pressure points or massage for cramps etc, I consume tumeric, ginger and lemon in my diet nearly every day. That's why I'm so interested in your channel as you show so many forms of natural herbal medicine. Thank you so much. You are getting more and more beautiful in each video, it's like you're blossoming in your new forever home with nature all around you. Thank you for sharing yet another calm and therapeutic video xxx

Awesome vlog. I have question. Can you recommend an organization in the usa that deals with well being. I know that in many ways I am unbalanced, emotionally, physically, and even spiritually. What I don't know is how to move towards a balance, where all aspects of my life are working together. I strive for balance in my own way, but this is through trial and error. If there is any guidance that you could offer, I would be honored.

@Neya-RobertSant 3 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Oh i dont know, i am not from the usa and normally i love the single practioner. To find balance is something unique to you and your path, but i can really recomment to start your day with qi gong (on youtube for expempel) learn something about the herbs that live close to your house and start eating singular foods (so for exempel if you want to eat tacos, that you instead of buying a taco set you make it yourself, flavour your meat with different herbs and not a pre packed taco mix, get organic sallad, make a quacamole from scratch, make a salsa dip with tomatos, unions and herbs) Try to do one thing at once and dont change everything, than you have so many balls of change in the air you get overwelmed, take one thing like the qigong and do this for 3 weeks to a month in s row, than add maybe meditation or breathwork in the evening. Cut out one bad thing in your diet per time and stick with this for a couple of weeks, and learn how to read packages, the less ingredients the healthier the food mostly is.

Many people are "called" by nature to sometimes lead a solitary life in order to connect with deity through the healing and purifying gifts that are hidden in the treasures of nature. This has also been my path, in later years, to connect with my spirit guides at the Realm of "God-dess". We are all aspects of nature for Deity is nature, another aspect of creation that we also call "Love in Action" or the "Life-force" energy.

Hello, New to your channel, and living in fear on flight in my own country since they took my home and a lot more. How much was/is your work in hourse per week? How far do you have to drive there+ Can you sleep over and work more intensely? Can your dog be with you in there, or what do you do about him? Are they not contemptuous and chauvinistic about your interest in natural medicine? Could you maybe help a complex, long-term case?I know i could heal, if only they gave me the help I can't do myself, and stopped harming me and preventing me from helping myself and going my way. I have a life-long CPTSD with severe but unnecessary consequences. Does Basic medicine actually help one understand the organs and their (co-)workings? I have been looking for an old house in Swedish nature, but they broke me down too much by decades of maltreatment, abuse, deceit, and finished it off by stealing my home, and then my money and income. I had fear in my body before, and it has got worse, although I have worked with things like acceptance, understanding, forgiveness and distancing myself from their untrue claims about me. But really also suppressing my fear in order to manage everyday survival at all. I have long thought of moving out to live a natural life in the wild country, and offer a small healing restaurant and /or natural health retreat for people to find healing. in burnout and all sorts of things. But I can't do anything much until I get help myself.It is urgent and has been for along time. Idk if you live alone; someone mentioned "boys" so you may have a family. Or else, would you know someone really good at energy therapy, according to Barbara Ann Brennan probably? I need someone who has healed their emotional wounds themselves(or are in the process of it) and having some spirito-physical and psychological -vital understanding and communication skills. I couldn't yet concentrate to put my needs into concrete and stringent words to God.Am killing myself by mistake, under many pressures at the same time since far to long. I hope my request is OK. Nöden har ingen lag. Best greetings for your life.
