I definitely like the story of you living in a storage unit. It sounds a lot of fun the more you talk about it, but the one thing I never knew was that you were doing in a bit of secrecy.
@OliverBulezuik28 күн бұрын
Of course it was Secrecy. Very few people know. I had the odd person spend the night in the unit with me, but apart from that and an uncle, no one really knew. I didn't upload anything until afterwards and I'm glad I didn't, as over 1,000 people called up the unit to report me 😂 I was long gone by then, and I didn't find out until an angry confrontation from an employee and her husband at the petrol station

This video really opened my eyes to the struggles of homelessness. I had no idea people lived like this. Thank you for raising awareness! Your story is powerful!

After mum passed the executor of her will tried to evict me from my home so the estate could be shared with my sister but after a legal process I was able to stay but I did hire a storage unit for 3 months thinking I was going to need somewhere to store a lifetime of possessions while looking for somewhere else to live. I never considered actually living in the unit but imagined I would be going there every day as I had a good stock pile of frozen food which I would be " shopping " from.

Thank you for the explanation of how you lived in the storage unit . I was watching at the time and found it very interesting . What I did not know at the time was the videos were not published until after you had moved out .Also you did not mention how or why you moved out of the unit.
@OliverBulezuik9 күн бұрын
I moved out because it was 50% for the first 2 months so I stayed there. I worked 7 days a week and stock piles the money for a van. What I should have done was continue to live in the unit whilst converting the van, instead I moved into the empty van with not even a mattress to sleep on

I live in a rented room in a house with three to five other guys plus the two evil landlords. I wish I had the money to buy a small car or van and live in it. I only have a part time job that isn't steady work.

Take up delivery driving for extra income!!!
@MrMoneyHelper2 күн бұрын
@@OliverBulezuik When I owned a car I did that, and it wasn't worth the pay. The companies in the USA pay very little per mile. The wear on the car subtracts quite a lot from the hourly income to the extent that one is working for half of a living wage. The area where one works has a huge effect on potential income. By comparison, getting a stationary job at a restaurant making pizzas pays more per hour if the wear on the car is included.

As an example, I was on around minimum wage pay doing delivery driving. Then, I got tips usually alot more than my pay + the milage which covered my fuel and future car maintenance. I don't like the minimum wage system the USA has to offer :( In sorry you're dealing with all of this. If you have any questions, I'd gladly pass on any advice that I have got :)
