Thankyou for the much awaited tour! Beautiful caravan and a respected make. In a different scenario, the split or single door issue has arised, and now personally believe that with a good roof sky light, a one piece door is better. In our uncertain times ,the locking of the single door and ventilation via sky light offers better security against the oppurtunist trouble maker! Sit down ,relax, snooze much safer! Happy Caravaning 😊😊

I've never even spent a night in a caravan Carol...but, with the way you have yours setup, and the way you explain everything, it actually makes it sound like an interesting option with so many positives 🤔 Especially, as you have said before, when I've spent so much time (and stress) on house-related stuff this year 😬 I am like you, in that I like everything to be organised and in its place...and you have certainly done that 👏 Basically, you have such a warm and inviting space there ❤ Oh, and the presentation and organisation of your videos just gets better and better 🙌 Have a great week Carol 🤗🤗

Hi Carol Anne, the caravan looks lovely and very well kitted out, if you are looking to live in the caravan full time, I would suggest that you try living in it for a week in the coldest part of the winter ahead, also check to see if there are any reviews from other people that have tried living in one. As you are 5'7", the shower and the bed seems a bit small for someone like me that is 6ft tall, so if you find a fella, try to find someone shorter maybe 😛 lol.

Hi Carol Ann. I'm a new subscriber to your channel and trying to catch up on all of your previously posted vidoes. Owning a caravan had always been my dream but raising 2 children as a single mum, it wasn't something I was able to do. My children are now grown up and living their own lives and I am married and travelling frequently to Spain with my Spanish husband. We bought a caravan during lockdown and had it on a beautiful seasonal pitch in Wales. Unfortunately it was 2.5 hrs away from where we live and our shift patterns are such that it was difficult to go and stay there, unless we booked annual leave which we mostly use for our bike trips to Spain ( we also have a Harley Davidson ❤ ✌️) We have the caravan in storage at present but are planning on using it much more, touring, these coming years, we may possibly have it on a closer seasonal pitch if we find the right one. The long term plan, once we retire, is to upgrade the caravan to a bigger one, and tow it with a large enough van to put the Harley inside. Then spend most of our time in the south of Spain living in the van and then move north to Cantabria in the really hot summer months. Your caravan looks beautiful....a real home from home. I'm really enjoying following your stories, the places you go, your adventures. I look forward to hearing more. Btw.... I was a single mum for many years and had restricted income/budget so I am now so appreciative that I can now 'live my dream ' not only with my caravan but riding the Harley around Spain and other parts of Europe with my wonderful husband. Its never too late to begin again ... I will be 60 next year and I'm so happy living my best life!🏍 😎🌍☀️🌅🇪🇦

You may or may not know , according to one of your fellow KZbin channel, due to degradation of the antifreeze in your central heating system set renew topups are needed! According to manufacturer instructions. Very important as the other elements of the antifreeze corrosion inhibitor are compromised. The occurrence of electrolitical corrosion can then develop! Worth checking your caravans data! You may know anyway.😊😊

@stuartmcbride8321 Hi, so I can keep my van here all year but only use it for 8 months, then the site closes. I know there are other sites that are open all year or maybe close for a week or two. If they aren't classed as residential sites most require that you provide a council tax bill showing you have a permanent residence. Easily done by going on a bill of a family member or friend. All site fees will vary depending on location and facilities available. I pay £1200 for the year plus electric on top.

Hi Carol. I love your videos. I’m looking to buy a static caravan on site, can you give me any pointers on what to look out for. Or if any one else can give me any pointers or advice it would be very much appreciated. I’d like a site that is open 9 - 12 months so that I could stay in it for long periods at a time. My budget isn’t great - £15-20,000 would really appreciate some help. Many thanks, Caroline

Morning Caroline, something I'm considering too. I've looked at 2 sites close to where I live, both open 50 weeks and the ground rents are £3 500 and £4800. You do have to be on a council tax bill for a property though so I'll go onto my sons account. The one thing I'd say regarding buying the van is try and get one that's designed for Winter use, as in insulation etc. If they are out of budget as they do tend to be more expensive, then consider getting better insulation. There's videos on KZbin showing how to do it. Also make sure all pipes are well lagged etc. So many people will put you off regarding Winter but personally I'll just be embracing it. I've lived in an old victorian semi and that was baltic over Winter even with the heating on lol. Let me know how you get on 😊

Hi Carol Anne, I wonder if you've heard of Elon Musk's 'tiny house' revolution? They're reported to start at $10,000 with 375 sq ft of indoor space and come with 6 solar panels on the roof (eco friendly.) They're more sturdy than statics and made of concrete, steel and foam and glass. They come as prebuild and are transportable with an SUV type vehicle. It is early days yet and I don't even know if they're available to buy in the UK yet. I've watched a lot of videos on KZbin about them. Once they take off here they're going to knock the hugely over-priced mobile home scam industry for six and a lot of owners are going to be left with turkeys they can't sell. After all the life of a static is only estimated to be between 50 and 100 years.
