Poodles to Gray-hounds.. I love them all..Yes just like little kids waiting for mommy and daddy to come home.. .. A lady I sat for brought me a mini poodle for me.. Albert and I were together for 15 years.. It took me over a year to get over his passing.. To this day I have his picture on my fridge...

A variety of ways to make money if travel is the main goal! Some are better for nomadic lifestyles and some are better for stationary lifestyles, but there are endless options!!! Feel free to add any suggestions so that the list can grow :) Keep in mind that not everyone who lives in a vehicle or RV travels all of the time. A number of people still maintain 9-5 jobs so those are always an option too! ADDITIONS provided by commenters: Uber/Lyft, Put a companies ad on your van/car/rv,

Selling your craft at craft shows where they will let you camp for free for the show Fri through monday. I have been doing this for 40 years and I am an artist. It is private and you can camp there even if you don't do the shows- most don't know who is who anyway. Shows are every weekend somewhere. Good info you have, I moved from USA camping to Global style and ended up living in Madagascar --Keep on living your dream

Just because I didn't see anyone else put this out in the comments, truck driving can be a very good income for those who want to live on the road. The upside is you literally get paid to travel and can go anywhere, the downside is that you go where the freight goes and not necessarily where you want. That said you live on the truck, fuel and vehicle maintenance is paid for by the carrier.

I’m so so beyond happy that I’ve stumbled upon your channel, this has been my dream for SUCH a long time and I’ve told my family, told some friends about my dream of living out of a van and everyone has shot me down or laughed in my face, told me I was crazy. I thought it wasn’t possible and that no one really lives like this and it would just have to remain a dream for me but seeing your channel, watching the few videos I’ve seen so far, you have sparked such a fire of hope in me. I’m also coming out of a super harsh time in my life and you just have given me a new found confidence and happiness. Really thank you so so much for your channel and sharing this lifestyle with the world, it is such an inspiration for me. I’m definitely going to start working towards this life ASAP! Stay awesome and thanks again! 😁💖✨

a couple of other ideas: 1- you can do flipping. go to yard sales and thrift stores, find quality product, and sell it. you can store inventory in a storage locker in a town you are in frequently, or you can send it along to amazon via their fulfillment warehouses. ebay, amazon, craigslist are the best places to sell, but you can sell certain types of finds (like vintage clothes) on etsy as well. there is a great reddit community if you need to learn more about this. 2- churn out novels and sell them on amazon. there are tons of tutorials on how to get your work out there. some people give them away for free and ask for reviews to get their foot in the door. if the novel is good and in a good category (erotic stuff sells well, i've heard), then you can make some good passive income that way. 3- if you have a local address you can make a small amount of money with plasma donations. they often have deals for new members or people who haven't donated in a while, whereas instead of getting $50/per, you get $75 per for a short time. it's a really helpful way to make some cash, but you have to have a street address on a bill or something, within their zone, so this might not help everyone.

I Love what your doing! My husband lived in my country (Philippines) for 4 years and we traveled all the time on a low budget. Sometimes it was frustrating, but we made it. He had a work at home job so it helped a lot. Now we have our own business on Amazon, which we created to continue our lifestyle of frequent travel, rarely having to go back to the US. So there are 2 more ways for people to make money while traveling, work at home job, and Amazon. Your video's inspire me to create my own travel vlog!

Hi Ahle, I've lived in my truck for the past 4 years and I love the freedom it gives me. My family and friends think I'm crazy but I don't care. I've had opportunities to buy another home or get an apartment, but I choose to live the way I do and I love being able to get up and go whenever I want. I love your channel and I like your advice. Great tips, here, Ahle. And not just for traveler/transient types, but really for anyone. Seasonal jobs are a big deal in my community. I live in fruit growing region where we have many orchards and even some vineyards, now. Many young people make the trek here every year to pick cherries, mostly. Some apples, though, too. A person can make enough money picking fruit for a few months, to see them through a winter of traveling to Mexico, or Bali, or India, or wherever.

In addition to your list of jobs, there is something here in New Zealand called 'au pair' which is basically a live in nanny. You get paid a small wage with holidays and free housing. Most students come from Europe with a degree in early childhood learning or something similar to travel New Zealand while on a working holiday visa for a year.

The Top Four Reason Why I Find You To Be An Amazing Person!! 1. You make the most minute details interesting and fun! 2. You're whole voyage/series demonstrates a high level of creativity second to none! 3. Your resolve to move forward and reach self-actualization (whatever that might be for any day… LOL) motivates me to emulate your accomplishments. 4. Super ballzy of you to be a pioneer of the land where you go out of the known world and hike into the wilderness...in so many more ways than one. I would've come up with more reasons as to why you're such an amazing person but I just started watching tonight. So far I have watched five episodes and thoroughly enjoyed each one. It's my intention to watch every episode that you put out because in the long run I hope to do exactly what you're doing: that is just going out there and living each day the best way possible-not for everyone of course but for certainly for me. So for now I am looking forward to the next episode will be living vicariously through you. Sincerely, Rich

With the right kind of vehicle, you can drive for uber. My old ford transit wagon qualified as a "4 door sedan" even though it had enough space in it to travel/ live out of. If you're living out of something bigger that doesn't qualify for a taxi service, you can always deliver for uber eats or similar services like post mates. Its decent money, you can work whenever and wherever you want.
@HokeyBugle
@HokeyBugle 7 жыл бұрын
I should add that you need to be 19 for food delivery and 21 for taxiing with one year of driving experience for either

To my knowledge you can only drive in one location at a time for Uber. Postmates automatically transfers as you move regions, but if you go from LA to San Francisco, you won’t be able to drive in San Francisco unless you go through a transfer process that takes weeks to complete.

Here is an idea for you that I am thinking of myself. I work as a roll-off driver, you know, dealing with those 30 yrd 20 yrd dumpsters you see at construction sites. Thing is, we have and use our own boxes and trucks to service out clients, but I noticed one of the companies that use us (and I will not name them, but their name was something something containers inc or close to it). Turns out you don't need to own the trucks or containers to have a container business. All you need are the contacts and clients. They sell our boxes for a mark up, we don't care because we get what we want out of it. Basically you can become a middle man (Or middle woman). The beautiful thing is, you don't really need to worry about the insurance of it all because you are using the company who owns the trucks and boxes insurance. BRILLIANT!!!!!! But, seeing as how you are at your age in a stage of being more nomadic, might not be a good choice for you right now. But hey, when you settle down one day, might be a good money maker.

I have been an artist at Renaissance Festivals for over 25 yrs. At the major festivals (which last around 8 wkends long) throughout the US, there are often seasonal jobs to do while the festival is on. Kitchen help is almost always needed. Sometimes there is also week work. Bonus is that at many of the festivals you can camp onsite for a reasonable cost. If you are really reliable and a great worker, artists might also hire you to help run their booth. You just have to get known. I travelled for 15 years doing multiple shows around the country.

My husband picks up "curbside pickup" items from Craigslist or buys items that he knows are way under listed and resells them for what they are worth. Sometimes he even tinkers with them to fix them or make them nicer. It's a great way to make some extra money.

Using sites like workaway are also a great way to travel with little money. Although they do not pay you money, you will get a place to stay and food; there is also an opportunity to learn new skills and make contacts for the future.

I know if you are near the west coast and you're low on money you could buy some window cleaning supplies and offer to clean windows for a hundred bucks or ask them if they need any other help. Some of the guys are really awesome, friendly, and know the struggles

Great video with good content. You are so adorable. I don't have a daughter, but if I did, I would hope she would be like you. Here is a job suggestion for you. You are smart, very well spoken, and present things in a very fun/animated way. If you pair that with your desire to travel, you get one really awesome travel host. I would suggest you send some sample videos, (videos made specially for this purpose), to say the Travel Channel, you Discovery Chanel, or Cooking Network, tour channels that promote resorts and stuff. Even SPIKE tv has Host that travel to see different makers or to hot rod shows, or car auctions in different places of the country. There are all sorts of options. DO some research and make some sample videos. You have the smarts, the talent, and the smile for it. Hope this message gets to you.

Hey Ahle!! I got a seasonal job working for the local baseball team (summer). From my understanding the football teams (winter) also use seasonal workers. So what am I doing you ask? I am going to be a host. So basically, I will tell people how to get to their seat and also answer questions like, "where is the bathroom" and other stuff. I am looking forward to it. So hey!! I just wanted to add my suggestion. Hope you are having fun.

Good suggestions, I was going to add that you could buy stuff at thrift shops, if you have a good eye, and sell them on ebay, as long as they're not too bulky to carry around. Another thing is a website called "Workaway" which you pay a $32 a year membership to join but then you find all these volunteering opportunities, that usually come with accommodations and food and are at some pretty cool locations, farms, horse ranches, vineyards, beach towns and so on. It can be a good way to take a break from life on the road if you are doing it long term. Wwoofing is kind of the same thing only specifically with organic farms. I think they're yearly membership is more expensive, like $50.

We went on vacation in Oregon and I found a recycling machine. I just recycled the cans and bottles we had used on the first few days of vacation. I got $1.40. I was so excited. We went into the store to cash out and my husband almost got his ice cream bar for free. Not much money, but every bit helps. I love recycling!

After high school I threw my carpentry tools and auto tools in the back of my 72 toy-hilux and took off to see America. Over the years I worked all 48. I always found work and always had money to come and go as I please. As time went by, I took various trade courses at the local community college(s) to expand my skills base and increase my revenue potential. I've enjoyed every minute of livin' on the road. I've done carpentry, mechanic, farm hand, landscaping, welding, security/roadie, glass blower, leather works, upholstery and cellphone repair and a bunch of other stuff somewhere in the middle! It's not all that hard to find work and the possibilities are limitless.

i did 3 years contract and another 3 years contract total of 6 years of my military career and i am lucky that each unit i get in, they move soldiers different places or they closes down either changing unit or consolidation. I traveled from US to Germany, Afghanistan, Kuwait, and Korea. Best memories and worst memories. Some soldier sometime just stay one area and never been outside of US. On average i move 1.5 years.

Truck driving. It will certainly fulfill your urge to move. However, depending on if you run your own truck or work for a company, your freedom to still see things you want to see off the highway may vary. In my experience, I was a driving instructor with my own truck. I would sometimes park, get a rental car, and explore cities like NYC, LA, Seattle, and San Diego.

gitgit1995 Legit what? Are you expecting her to be something, and if it doesn't meet your expectation then she won't be legit in your mind? What is she not allowed to have a house or ever sleep in a hotel room for her to be legit? She has stated that she lives the way she lives by choice. She's not crying out for help from anyone nor is she trying to gain sympathy nor scam people. Her lifestyle is her choice. If she chooses to take a break from it and stay in a normal sheltered place, is that wrong? Absolutely not! Just her being alive is legit enough for me bud. She has nothing to prove to anyone

Here's an idea for a job: Traveling nurse practitioner ( You might wanna look into this if you wanna go into the medical field already) They give you options on where to go (Sometimes I'm not really sure) Most of the time you stay there for like 2 weeks so plenty of time to enjoy the place It is a well paying job so it'd give you money for groceries, filling up water, and things like that

You got my wheels turning. I was thinking that there are people that I would like to visit and I was thinking of asking them if I could park in front of their house for a period of time that I could clean their house and mow their grass or whatever else that they would need in exchange for using their shower and stove while I was there. It won't make me any money, but help me pay for some of the things that I would need done for awhile. Thank you for this good information. Happy travels!
