When you talked about remembering the names of the people buried in the cemetery next door it made me think of my habit of reading the names on the headstones aloud. It always makes me wonder when the last time that person’s name was was spoken, and who they were and what their life was like. I love cemeteries! They always feel peaceful to me. I grew up exploring ones from the 1600’s on Long Island NY where I grew up. Whenever I go to Ohio to visit my dad he likes to take me on a cemetery run to see where all our people are buried(including great greats as well as closer relatives). Guess I come by it naturally! 😁

I live directly across the road from the cemetery my father and grandparents are buried in. People think its creepy but I find cemeteries very calm and peaceful. I really enjoyed your Q & A and learning more about you and your cozy cottage. I grew up just above a cemetery and for many years my family was the care taker of it mowing, trimming, removing old flowers, etc. I love cemeteries and find them peaceful. I often visit local ones to walk through them, read the names and see what treasures loved ones and friends leave them. They are beautiful places to me. I hope you're both doing well. Take care.

This video brought so much joy to my heart! Cobweb cottage was “born” in the same year as my dear grandmother and role model, Claire. My mom and I commemorated what would be her 100th birthday in March. I wanted to share because as I was watching your video, I realized that you two as a couple remind me of my grandparents. They had many challenges and moved a lot in the early years of their marriage, but they loved being in each other’s company every day, and they had so many stories. They always appreciated what they had. My grandpa Barney was a big history buff who would have loved learning about your cemetery! Thank you for the cozy vibes and the inspiration to believe in a dream!

Your story and they little cottage you found would be my biggest dream come true. There is nothing I dream of more than stumbling on a sweet little cottage and making it my home and decorating it with the change of seasons. I would even love the cemetery. I am now in my 60s and have had to move many times, so having a little home of my own would be the best thing in the world to me. I so envy your lucky find, but I love seeing yours and what you have done with it. I wish you much happiness and hope that's one day you will own it or one just as charming. I hope I will one day too. 🌞🍄🌿🕸️❤️

I enjoyed this video so much! You have made the cottage such a lovely, cozy home. The way you speak about your home really shows that it was a perfect fit for the two of you. I would say your landlord was a very lucky guy to have you there because it's obvious how much you love and care for the cottage. Thanks so much for sharing!

I love wandering in old cemeteries. Many here in Ohio have children which saddens my heart. I realize life was much harsher back then. Love your videos and your sweet cottage and art that you bring from your passions of vintage and creativity.

We also think the same thing when you see how young some of the people buried there are

Such a good reminder to be content with what you have but to keep dreaming. Fabulous video. Cheers and take care. Video idea: building a miniature cozy cottage replica out of cheap or upcycled materials, like cardboard and pieces of fabric, etc. ❤️
