First of all I’d like to say that your new camera is fabulous, the picture quality and sound is as good as it gets. I’d also like to say, you did great with the two new jackets, bargain. The budget hotel was great value for £9 per night, and the luxury hotel for £38 per night was simply incredible for what you paid, I think I’m going to move in. The veggie inside the soup is white radish. Great choice for choosing DJI as your blogging camera. The outcome from the camera is great. Most bloggers nowadays used DJI instead of GoPro. The safari theme room is very nice. Good value for your bucks. The two jackets you bought are not bad for the price you paying and hope the material is of good quality too. I like the way you both sharing the traveling experiences, it's very informative (at least for me}. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. The new dji camera looks better than the old one, the image looks sharper. But I think it can be better, depends on the mode setting (I think). As now, I saw if you were in outdoor scene, the background looks quite "sharp" as well. Maybe there is a setting that can be adjusted to focus sharply more on near object(s}. Your face for example. The old camera image(s) looks a bit foggy to me. Sound quality good enough on both cameras. Clear and loud enough.

Chinese hotels offer great value for money. In England you can easily pay 200 quid per night and get some real shit rooms.

38 pound is still a very reasonable price for such a luxurious hotel. The breakfast looks so gorgeous! And the roast duck set is always the best taste (the brush tool is cute) When you in Changsha, not cost you that much, but still high quality and offer you great experiences. That is the ideal city indeed.

It is fine to eat all the food provided, especially for casual meals like what you had. Government is promoting "clean dish" (i.e. don't leave food uneaten) to reduce food waste.

I am not sure if I heard you correctly. The cheap hotel cost £9 while the expensive hotel cost £39 a night. That would be $16 and $70 Canadian per night. The first hot pot meal cost £4, which was about $7.14 Canadian. That could not be true despite of Chang Sha is a second or third tier city in China.

I know in recent China, that the gov't tries to promote the idea not to waste food. Try to order what you can eat and if there are leftovers you can bring it home. The restaurants have containers for a nominal fee. There are signs, sometimes in the restaurants saying this. Ofc, it's not a law, but a good practice for the society and environment. 👍

about the hotels some of the toilets will get clogged easily, so you have to flush early. Its mainly the cheaper hotels. the beds are fine to sleep on, you will get used it and even notice that your back becomes straight. Breakfast on cheaper hotels i would skip it, its not worth it. But the expensive hotels the breakfast is way better its like a walking buffet. Your new camera it has a better focus when moving and stays sharp which is indeed better for vlogging.

It may be spelt "MIXUE" in English, but in China whenever you see something spelt with "UE" you don't pronounce it "oo" like you do in "due", or "clue". You say "WEH" not "OO". In Chinese culture, it is rude to eat everything when you're invited to someone's home for a meal, but not in a restaurant. In a restaurant, it is considered wasteful if you don't finish the food. That being said, it's not really a problem these days if you do eat everything even when invited over for a meal, as the host generally don't want to waste food so they rather their guests finish it than tossing it out if they don't want to have left overs.

75 yuan for a full peking duck meal for 2 is a steal. That $12 hotel was incredibly cheap especially when you can eat an entire dinner for only $10. Living in that city as a tourist must be nice. Just eat out everyday.
