It's difficult because China have 1.4 billion but in Canada or USA there're much less population and resources rich, and mentally in North America people are enjoying great life and prosperity for so long while China or Asia and Africa are just starting seeing betterment of theirs living condition. I'm living in Canada for decades and educated here but looking forward in the future the world will see change and people outside of the western world will see improvement and hopefully without conflicts we all can have a better life for everyone.

If you plan to stay in Canada, your priority is: [1] Get yourself a union job. In Ottawa, apply for any Federal position. [2] Prepare to work for a long time. Your CPP is calculated using your best 40 years of earnings. [3] Start your RRSP and TSFA now. Contribute every month if you can. When you turn 65, you'll have: [1] A pension from your job. [2] CPP and OAS from the government. [3] Hopefully a sizable RRSP and TSFA. None of this make any sense to you at the moment. You'll find out soon enough.

I’ve lived in Canada for over 50 years and for you to make consideration comments in such a short time, you’re not really seeing the full picture. Constructions in China are completed in a blink of an eye. Constructions in Canada takes years and many that you see are repairs and upkeeps , not new constructions. Live here longer and see the real Canadian issues.

One must realise China is not an immigration country whereas Canada has only around 40 million people and is a country basically built on immigration. This fundamental difference must be acknowledged.

There are 600 million Chinese making less than 1000 RMB a month. A McDonald's meal in China is around 20-30 RMB. So there are 600 million people in China can't afford more than 50 McDonald's meals a month. How many Canadians can't afford 50 McDonald's meals a month? Things are cheaper on paper in China if you don't know how much poor Chinese are making. And you lived in China before.
