You are the first person saying Czech is expensive. Maybe it’s relative to your lifestyle.

My sister am hearing this for the first time i have watched more than five Nigeria KZbinr that are international students in cezech republic and all of them said that cezech is very very cheap i mean affordable compare to other countries even Canada that is so expensive an international students in Canada spend 300 Canadian dollars and they live very very large some even manage 150 Canadian dollars per month i have also seen a family of five spending 700 Canadian dollars on their monthly groceries including different types of meat and fish and according to them some of the items they buy will roll over to the next month so i don't know how you are spending 85 Euro per day this sounds wired even in uk with 100 pounds you are sorted for the month as an international student or less than 100 pounds self please check what you are really spend on or buying thanks

Well, well nice video by the way .. i have been living here in CZ for the past 12 years in the countryside, no issues with the locals .... i mind my business and they mind theirs ... as a black man born and grew up in Europe(Holland) , i 've learned to mind my business and never feel bad when someone is not comfortable in my presence , that's his problem not mine and i also avoid any confrontations ... why have a talk with someone who hate you by default ? does not make sense to me... So if i go to a Cz party , bar what ever and i feel that i am not Welcome .. i Just leave , no questions ask ... Even thou my wife of 11 years is Czech and we have 2 kids ... i just bounce ... she hates it but who is black guy here ??? me .. there is a saying : there are always 2 sides of a story ... well , Not lynching

Do you mean to say living in Prague is expensive or living in Czech is expensive? Cos people in other parts of Czech tell you living there is quite affordable but they always say living in Prague the capital is expensive. So I'd like you to repeat what you really mean for clarity sake cos 100 euros a day ain't a joke.

Prague is expensive. The monthly rent for 2+1 flat is from 9000 CZK/375 EUR at the border of Prague to 49000 CZK/2042 EUR at the centre. In Hradec Králové and Zlín the average is about 13500 CZK/562 EUR per month for rent only. Add another 3000-5000 CZK/125-210 EUR for joined water/heat/gas/electricity bill. If you cook for yourself your grocery bill can be as low as 72 CZK/3 EUR per day. If you eat at the restaurants, well that's way more expensive. Average midday (10:00-14:00) meal menu is about 155 CZK/6,5 EUR here in Zlín, and about 180-250 CZK/up to 11 EUR in Prague (outside of center). The minimum wage (40h/week/avg. 21 working days) after taxes is 15371 CZK/640 EUR per month. The median wage after taxes is 30 286 CZK/1211 EUR

This is the first time I am hearing this. I know that the Embassy request for 3000 Czech Krons for a monthly living expenses as a proof of funds. So if it as you are saying, €100 per day. Does it not contradict? Pls come again.... €100 per day ×30 days= € 3000. What at all is even the average monthly salary in Zcech Republic......?
@robinsebelova7103

Average monthly salary is about 43000 CZK/1720 EUR, median salary is about 36000 CZK/1440 EUR, she's living expensively. You can get by with minimal wage (about 15000 CZK/600 EUR) if you're modest. Living in flat 1+1, or finding roomate can help a lot, also you can easily get by with 250CZK/11EUR/day for food, even less if you cook for yourself.

Correction, Czech republic is not so expensive, the Prague is expensive. If you get flat at the Prague border or in Středočeský kraj, the prices of accomodation are somewhere else. You can commute daily with public transportation, it just takes an hour or two a day on train/bus. Also you have to buy groceries in the supermarket, not in the centre of prague where prices are driven high thanks to touritsts.
@bellavio

Hi. I don't know if you're international student or a Czech citizen. Whichever you are, kindly ask international students if Czech is expensive to them or not! This applies to other cities and Prague. Secondly, I didn't say groceries are bought in the center and not the supermarket. Kindly listen to my video properly. You wouldn't know if its expensive or not as along as you're not an international student. Stay blessed. And Subscribe to my channel. ^^

@@bellavio I am Czech citizen currently studying for a doctorate degree. I know prices and wages. From the minimum wage/living expenses ratio POW, our state is not very expensive. Yes, I don't know your budget, your rent, price of services, where exactly you buy your food and whether you cook, which all contributes to price of your living. Just today, when I researched flat (2+1, about 60-66m^2) prices at Prague I've found some even cheaper, than in my town (9000CZK/month). If you can live in even small 1+1, it is even cheaper. And yes, against university owned accommodation it is still way more expensive. But you can live much more cheaply than 100EUR/day even in Prague. It's all about what are you used to and consider comfortable. You have your opinion, I have mine. So lets agree to disagree. And sorry, but I won't subscribe you. It was just random chance I came across your video and you're not in my interest group. Please work a little at your spoken English, it is a little blurred a times, making it hard to understand for me.

@bellavio
@bellavio Жыл бұрын
If I wasn't serious i wouldn't have mentioned it. 100 euros is equivalent to 2,000kc which is 1,100 Ghan cedis. In a month i spend up to that amp for groceries + toiletries. With a budget you can spend less but that's the max a person can send on groceries in Prague. Czech Republic is expensive!!!! I wouldn't have mentioned it if i didn't experienced it. I will never put false information on my page.

@@bellavio it was strange for me as well, about the prices. It is true that it went up in the last 12 month, but still 1500 a day for food seems a lot for me. Like, today I bought 2kg of potatoes, 500 g of minced meet, bananas, aples, milk, eggs, some sweet yogurts for the kids, 500 g pasta, 200g grana padana cheese, some ham and bread, and it was 500 CZK. Yes, some things were on sale, but still. Even if i would eat out 3 times a day, i still wouldn't spend 1500 ,- CZK.

@@bellavio You just have to lower your standard of eating if you want to live in Europe, you can't kill a pig or cow and eat real food every day, nobody would have money for that here, instead, we eat junk food and just surviving, it is how it is here, you have to adapt to it or don't stay here. If you expect to eat real food every day, you have to be really rich here. You mostly take some bread with cheap eidam cheese and that's your dinner, most of Czechs earn like 40 eur/day, so when you spend 85-100 eur/day, you must be really rich compared to our standard of living.

@@KNOWYOURWORLDWITHENNIE After a quick check I found that you can actually have free czech language courses, if you are a non EU citizen, but you need a long term Czech viza (90+ days) to apply. For example, if you can find a job here, come on a working viza, you would be able to study Czech for free in some organizations. It is not that easy to find a job here without Czech language, but there are some options for sure.
