Thank you, Shaun, for the trip through Edinburgh now. We spent a month in Edinburgh in a vacation apartment at 2 Leopold Place near the corner of London Rd and Elm Row in March 2019 for the Edinburgh Yarn Festival at the Corn Exchange. I remember we found a pub north of George St where the waitresses’ Scottish accent was so hard for me to understand that we asked for a taste of a few beers, then just pointed to the ones we wanted! @@arianaajbeaverhausen8175 - We use that phrase here in NY, quit liberally, as well. Of course, we do more daily testing than any other state, too. So we have a similar lockdown. One of our two Fulbrights for this year has a birthday next werk, as do I. We won't be able to go to a restaurant for dinner together, as we're not from the same household. To keep them busy, we've gone to the ocean yesterday (with masks on) and it looked pretty much like the beach here. Sunny today, though. All we can do is run errands with them, drive them around checking out Christmas lights at houses and the local shrine. Thanks for taking us along on your "online stuff" this weekend!

Very different from when I went there for Hogmanay 4 years ago. Still beautiful, just seems odd without people. Innes & Gunn make a great beer, especially ones aged in whisky barrels. There’s an IPA they developed with Ian Rankin.

always love your content and your personality is outstanding. Thank you for all you do Sean. How 'bout a few Whiskey distillery tours when the world gets back to being open? After all, Scotland makes the best on the planet.
