Born and raised North Dakotan, lived in Fargo for 4 years, moved back to my home town after college (one of the larger cities in the state). Yes jobs, lots of them, but typically they are going to be restaurant/retail jobs, not many professional jobs mostly because people stay at them forever. They are there, just have to be patient. If you live in Fargo you have the wonderful advantage of being right across the river from Moorhead, MN. In Minnesota, you do not pay sales tax on items like clothing (little life hack in you need to save some extra $$$). In ND you do not pay sales tax on most food items and gasoline, but you will on other essential items such as clothing. Sorry about the racism, it's here, must admit that. It's because of limited exposure to other races. Hopefully, over time it will go away with a more diverse population. Weather: cold in winter, hot in summer, invest in a parka, snow boots, and a good hats/gloves set. Learn what wind chill is, just because it says it's 15 degrees out doesn't mean it's going to feel that warm. Yes, some winters are especially wicked where we have a few weeks of a "cold snap" with "feels like" temperatures well into the negatives, like -40 or -50, the water in your skin can freeze if you expose it too long to the elements. You will also need a shovel. Driving in winter is a learning curve, brakes are not your friend on ice, it is best to coast down as much as possible and lightly touch the breaks for a not so slippery stopping experience. Longer travel time, more following distance, and slower speeds are key, also invest in a vehicle with AWD or 4WD if possible. SUVs & pick-ups reign supreme on the plains, but tbh pick-ups are unevenly weighted so while they have the drive train you need, remember to weigh down the box in the winter. She's right, we drink, a lot. Best thing to do in the winter. However, if you want to pick up snowmobiling, skiing, ice fishing etc, all great winter activities. Summer activities tend to include, going to the lake, going tubing on the Ottertail river (in Detroit Lakes, MN about 1 hour from Fargo. Also a drinking activity), camping, outdoor concerts etc. SPEND AS MUCH TIME OUTSIDE AS YOU CAN IN THE SUMMER!!! But don't forget bug spray, lots of mosquitos. Flooding is occasional in the Red River Valley as you can have a large amount of snow some winters and the Red River flows north to Canada, which can result in ice jams up stream and the water not flowing. The Valley is very flat so there isn't much places for the water to go. The city has made dykes around the worst of the worst locations, but it is something to think about when looking for housing.

I went to college in Fargo, the vibe I got from living there over a decade ago was that lgbt people are ok in their book. The city even has a fairly large (for ND) pride gathering every June, and the college campuses do Pride week during the year. There are also plenty of drag and burlesque shows throughout the year and there is even the Pride Collective & Community Center who can get you in touch with other groups in the community and resources if needed.

Also you mentioned that you have a kid many times in this video, but not once mention that you have a husband or boy friend. 2. You said at the end of the video "I will always love myself and I will always be myself." That is the funniest thing you've said you said in this video. How could you truly love yourself when your wearing some other persons hair on top of your head? You naturally grow hair and you take someone else's hair and put it on your own head inorder to hide it and not have to deal with the hair that grows out of your scalp naturally. That is insecurity at its finest. It looks like yarn and you were telling people at one point in the video, where to buy weave. Before you say "white wm wear weave too..." at least it looks like it grew out of their own scalp. 3.
