Congrats to all who come and live in Ghana. I came to Ghana in 1999, still living here. Please i beg, understand coming to ghana is not living in ghana. Most people come to ghana, are what i call people on a extended stay. You have to live with the people, and not just among them. Be willing to forget what you think you know, and learn all over again. All my children speak Twi, Ewe and other languages. Learn the ghana customs, learn to be humble. Enjoy!

A lot of people would like to do the same but are restricted due to "fear of unknown". I had same dream but Nigeria, my fatherland is bleeding. I was scared to the marrow when I read about how Dr. Aborode was killed. The man, having spent beautiful years of his life hustling in the USA, went back home to farm. He was murdered by the fulani herdsmen. In fact, some of us who shared his dream decided to let go for now. Ghana can be considered as alternative due to stability

Don't run away from ur Country. There is no place on this planet better than ur Motherland. Everywhere u go , have the Good the Bad and the Ugly. Even in GHANA what u described that happened in Nigeria, its also happened there. There are African Americans living in Nigeria happily and never think of going back to America to live again . Every living being have its own destiny..There's murder in America almost every second and Mass Murder in public Shooting .

Most Ghanaians unfortunately do not understand humanity. We do not know why we get sick or how we feel peace. For us, the devil is responsible for everything. So a Ghanaian could experience a lot of stress in their lives, stress that makes them feel ill, but they would never make the connection to stress and environment. Most have lush villages and yet spend so much time in the city. Environment that has killed many.

I'm Getting ready to move back home after 20+ yrs abrod , the planning is crucial because I will be moving with family and this kind of info is much needed. A lot of our own ppl abroad don't want to hear anything about Africa :( and focus so much on the negative stories / experiences and fgt that western luxuries comes at very high price. For somebody who want to relocate like me, it definitely helps to have like minded (even if they are online brothers and sisters) people. So thank you for introducing brother Zay to me he's pure motivational 🙌 Vanessa I love love the kind of Qns you are asking eg source of income is one of the biggest concern since I hv bn an employee all my life so I hv to switch that mindset. I’m in the process of building a house in Ghana right outside of Cape Coast. I say I had to come to Africa to get the “American Dream”. I’m also in Atlanta. Can’t wait till it’s finished hopefully in a few months. That’s what I tell my friends and family make your money here in America and use it in Africa it goes much further.
