Living in London: Pros and Cons

For the last 8 years, I've lived in London and have noticed the pros and cons of living in this great city! There are of course many things I love about living in London but there are definite downsides too. But like people, no place is perfect!

I have lived in 4 other first world countries prior to London and my conclusion is that there is only one amazing thing about being located in London which is to be able to get away within 2 hours to other amazing and beautiful countries . That’s it. Her accent is very impressive by the way

I 100% agree with the Polite: please, thankyou and sorry! As a British person it’s very common to say and I have had a lot of culture clashes in Korea, where I’ve been unwilling to accept an older person as being right...I just refuse to accept that they are right all the time. In this situation, I miss the UK🇬🇧 On the other hand, public transport, Seoul gets it 1000% 😂 It’s interesting to see your perspective!

Potentially moving to london from munich (originally from california). When you were going through the cons, I was like "wow, that sounds better than munich!" lol customer service is non existent here and it's a very keep to yourself/not that friendly type of culture. the only things that munich specifically wins at is cleanliness, trains/transport, and safety. After watching your video, London seems like a good medium for me, having lived in California + Munich!

I remember when I was in Seoul in 2018, an old man ran into me and I apologised 🤣 it was the most British thing I ever did. How come you choose to live in London compared to other city’s? Are you a U.K. citizen now?

You can't judge the UK through London, it was a very different city only 20 years ago. Most of the natives have moved away because of the negatives you mention, the food might be more diverse but thats the inly thing that improved. Its not native English driving around on bikes robbing people.
