Just bought a house in Wickham Lakes area I’m super pumped. Raised surfing every day I could down in WPB. Moved to Las Vegas 18 years ago for work. Im over the dust and dirty air. I know it’s hot and humid in Florida but it’s literally 105degrees at 12am in vegas in the summer. I will miss the colder winters and the mountains but being able to surf trumps all of that. Be there late October I’m pretty excited. I know absolutely nothing about Viera or anything there. I haven’t even seen my house in person. Looks nice on video.

I'm currently in real estate classes here in Indiana. My goal is to sell here, save up and buy a house down in Merritt and open up a brokerage down there. Immediately after obtaining my indiana license I'm going into classes for my Florida. Would love to learn more about the space coast market. I visit cocoa beach frequently and I'm in love with the area!

Which route do you recommend, I am a bit afraid of heights on bridges to get from A1 to Cocoa Beach please. I do not mind a little extra time. Thank you.

To get to Merritt Island from the mainland, you have to cross a causeway bridge which is about the same height of the bridges connecting Merritt Island to Cocoa Beach. The only work-around I can think of is taking the 405/Nasa Causeway near Titusville towards the Kennedy Space Center (it is a lower bridge) which will connect you to north Merritt Island. Take this to State Road 3 (aka Courtenay Parkway). Take State Rd 3 all the way south (past the 404/Pineda Causeway) to Mathers Bridge which connects the southern tip of Merritt Island to Indian Harbour Beach/Satellite Beach. You can then take A1A north to Cocoa Beach.

Hi Eric, We are thinking of moving back to Florida, I would love to live on a canal or one of the rivers, but I am concerned about any fees and such and the cost of insurance. Can you tell me a little about those things.

I am unaware of any fees for living on the canal or river. Insurance costs really depends on the age of the home, age of the roof, and how well the 4pt inspection and wind mitigation report is.

How noisy are the launches?

Depends on a lot of factors. How close to the space center? Type of rocket Direction of launch Wind direction Cloud cover I live south Cocoa Beach...I can hear most launches.... sometimes I don't hear a thing

The alligators terrify me otherwise would love to live there. I would probably rent for awhile first.
