I don't know if you're joking about your dog wanting to eat in private or not but that's not a healthy thing that shows your dog is more dominant than you and that's not okay. You should always eat in front of your dog first and then put their food in front of you you don't have to physically watch them eat but they need to be eating with you right there and you need to be able to pet your dog while they eat.

As a senior, waking up at 3 p.m.every night (to pee) is problematic. In a car, it's harder. I'd need a vehicle big enough to squat over a potty at night. My biggest fear is stooping down over a snake in a desert😮😮. I think she's parking away from everything public because then she has the privacy to get out and tinkle. Plus, even if you park in a public area, you have that fear of "strangers" trying to break into your vehicle at night. I saw two female van lifers have had it happen. They were frightened. It's hard to sleep when you feel like someone might come along at any minute and try to access your vehicle. I wonder where their family members or sons are in many cases. I know it might not necessarily be that it's their choice and that they don't want to be a burden. But the young people in our culture DO NOT value elders. They cringe the moment you try to offer any advice or wisdom.

I have to be out of my apt in 3 weeks. My new apt won’t be ready till mid March or April so that gives me a couple weeks of living in my vehicle. It’s not a full suv but it is a hatchback and if I throw clothes n sleeping bag in front seat I can still do my deliveries!!! My husband and I live on the road and we love it!! I can't imagine ever being stuck in one place again. We visit all the National Parks and camp in some really beautiful areas. We have a van and trailer so a bit more room but I also run 2 businesses and we have 2 chihuahuas so we need the extra space. The freedom we have is priceless!!

My big lug PitBoxerBull..would never do in a car nor would my old ass cat n my crazy kitten. We will overcome this..I've already overcame Crohns 48yrs..Severe migraines..mood disorder..COPD + leg amputation plus DV survivor..it's just carry on motto...patience careful olanning and alotta prayer.
