As a Chicago girl who lives in California, Luis and Nerissa thank you. I enjoy all of your videos. You are a breath of fresh air. I love the New York videos also. But of course, my favorite will always be Chicago. Thank you so much.❤

I have visited both of these major city's in a span of 2 weeks. Chicago is huge no doubt. But NYC is on another level. Not sure what it is because both city's are amazing and such a great representation of the USA.

I visited NYC and Chicago a little while ago. They are great cities, impressive arquitecture, very urban and a lot to do.

I'm a New Yorker but I love that Chicago deep dish. Transit New York is a lot easier to navigate, more lines, more transfers, Chicago seems to be centered around that loop. they're finally planning interboro lines where you don't have to go through Manhattan.

Great comparison, very balanced review you saw it as you experienced it. I agree with most of what you said. I totally agree both NYC and Chicago could definitely benefit from making their Subway/metro systems more circumferential, connecting neighborhoods to neighborhoods and suburbs to suburbs.

Hey Luis, great video! As someone who travels back and forth between Chicago and NYC often, I couldn't agree more with most of the video. If Chicago were able to close the roads that run through Grant Park and the other great parks of Chicago, they would definitely act more as an escape from the hustle and bustle like the ones in New York.

As a Chicagoan this city is unmatched in the summer. Yachting on the lakefront, the entire city is lined with a large lake to the east. Beaches from the Northside to the far Southside. Besides the many parks. You do have some space. If Chicago didn’t have such terrible politics the city could be even greater. So many neighborhoods are under developed and neglected either by the government or the residents who live there. The fact that there is no South Pier équivalent to Navy Pier is truly a testament to missed opportunities. 😢

The Chicago skyline looks like New York of the 80s. But if you go to Brooklyn it looks like neighborhoods of Chicago.

Please do you and allow your content to rise. Folks that complain and put folks down for doing great things are not the ones to listen to. Most just like to point fingers and are not about doing what it takes to elevate their lives. Congrats on doing you and moving for your career. High quality content.

Hahah when people annoy me I do accents too! Lol! Keep the vids coming bro. I reached a tipping point in my career as of recent and am finally thinking of a few years of cold winter to boost my income may be worth it. I love the warm weather being down south but Chicago seems like my style coming from the south. I’ll be visiting in July so super excited!

As a Chicago native, Chicago is the prep course for NYC. Or the AAA version of NYC. If NYC is Michael Jordan, Chicago is Kobe Bryant.

Luis as a Guy that lived in NYC and from Chicago, it's not gonna be that much of a Transition for a creator such as yourself. I lived in Chicago, New York, and LA, and they all have it's up's and down, but a creator such as yourself it not gonna be that hard to fit in.

The big orange!? 😮 I've never heard Los Angeles being labeled "The Big Orange". The "City of Angels", that's what LA is known as, but the "The Big Orange"? 🍊 There's more orange in any Chicago Bears jersey (similarly with the New York Mets) than any LA-area sports team. In all seriousness, Luis Gusto, I always enjoy your Chicago videos. And in a selfish way, I'm glad you guys have gotten to the Big Apple. 🍎🍏 (two apples of different colors) But as someone who has spent a year-plus in the Windy City, I'm thankful you guys are splitting time living in the first and third largest cities in the US.

Chicagoan here, I found NYC to be a larger version in almost every way. I enjoy it and actually feel very easy to transition to the city. I prefer New Yorkers to Chicagoans though. I wouldn’t consider moving to NY because it wouldn’t be much of a leap to something different. Chicago is a large busy metropolis with a lot to do. I’m looking for something more tropical and warmer.
