Erik, this bittersweet video is really one of the best vlog episodes on YT. I've watched it many times. Not just because it shows genuine joy and heartfelt expectation but because it conjures up all sorts of emotions and remembrances in the viewer. I'm an old lady now, but one thing written during my young womanhood somehow fits here, "We do survive, sometimes even when we don't want to." My heartfelt admiration goes out to you, Erik, for the class and courage you've shown and especially that determination to survive no matter what. In survival, growth comes. The very best thing about you is the way you care for that dog of yours I can just cry it makes me so happy may God bless and keep you all of your very long prosperous life. I very recently had to put my York Shire Terrier, my little baby Harley, to sleep I am absolutely torn to pieces I miss him so desperately! I am 57 years old soon to be 58 married to the love of my life. My dream has always been to live in New York. I have not even as much as visited New York. To stay in the hotel for a week would be something that would be impossible for us financially. Thank you so much for sharing.
