I have depression and I always thought that you seemed like this happy 24 hours a day kind of guy and I always strived to be that and was a little bit jealous honestly. Depression is a monster that whispers in your ear and tears you down. i, too, took forever to get a shrink, but i am so glad i did. Life on a good day is rough and this past year has shown that we are all in this together. there is no shame in asking for help, so hopefully this video will resonate with a fan or fans who needs to hear this.

This is such a great video and this really hit home. I have dealt with depression before and I didn’t know how to get through it. We are all human and we sometimes need help getting in the right headspace. I will look into this for sure. Sometimes i just need to talk to someone that will not judge me. With the death of KZbinr Lee MacMillan, who died last week after a lengthy battle with depression, its important now more than ever that depression and anxiety be discussed. Oh Eric! I’m so sorry you’ve been hit by the insidious illness called Depression. I stumbled across your videos and I’m so glad I did. You’re certainly blessed to have such an awesome dog in your life, Theo is gorgeous. I was put into a Nursing Home by my Son and abandoned, I discovered that I’m not the only Mother in this place who suffers with Depression, sadly it’s quite common in Aged Care. I’m one of the younger residents and I have a hard time making friends as many are in their Eighties and tend to pass away to soon. I have a great Therapist and I hope you keep up with the great things in life.

I am thankful you got the help you needed. It's helpful that you are speaking about this. It's funny how humans make assumptions about people through the externals. I had thought you were happy. No one can guess another's struggle just from a few minutes of video content. I wished you peace and happiness a few moments ago when I viewed your previous video. And that still holds true. I will add though that I also wish you the guidance you need when difficulties arise. So much still ahead of you to learn,enjoy and love.

I just found your Channel, KZbin recommend it. You’re extremely brave and kind to open yourself up... I’m delighted that you’re feeling better. 2020 has been a bummer for just about everyone. I lost two siblings in a seven month period last year, both younger. I can’t even explain how depressed l was. Fortunately, I already had a psychiatrist, it definitely helped. Stay healthy and committed to your mental health. ☺️

I have tremendous respect for you for a myriad of reasons!!!!!! You need to live your own truth and need to surround yourself with people who respect that truth.
