Living in Shenyang was amazing. I was an exchange student in 2011 and I have wanted to return to visit again since. I was a visiting student at Liaoning University. My experience was amazing.

Shenyang looks like an awesome place to live and visit. We live in Tianjin which I have just learnt isn't too far from Shenyang so I will have to plan a visit to the city! One of our favourite thing about living here is the food!

Even in China, Shenyang is not a small city. It is one of the largest. Used to be the 4th largest . Now still among the top 10 in China.

Welcome to Shenyang but I’d like to say that Shenyang is by no means a small city, but the flagship city of northeastern China with the largest urban population and area. It also serves as the hub for the whole region in terms of culture, commerce, transportation and medicine.

Shenyang is the largest city in Northeast China (about 1/7 of the country in both size and population). Also, it’s a sister city of Chicago, so roughly it can be considered as the counterpart of Chicago in China. The economy of the city (along with the whole Northeast) has been in sort of trouble (why “sort of”? Because “in trouble” means a single digit or even a zero economic growth rate) for a decade or so, but take everything into account, it is still one of the top cities in China.

GoYvon shenyang is not one of the first class city in China. And the Northeast is declining rightmost.

GoYvon When I returned last year, I'm amazed by the new buildings and new areas. The city is developing and enlarging the area every year. Can you be certain that you have visited all those awesome places? I mean without a local guide, your activity area may not be that indepth.

Shen yang city itself is not so metropolitan , downtown area isn't huge, not much entertainment. U can't do drag race or car racing at all. Almost no English cinemas,etc. It is very small by comparison. That Ozzie got a cute wife. Chinese people love Aussie, and American too.
