Hi Chad, in Chedi Residences only one apartment left. Unit 3003 - 1 bedroom unit, 95m2 interior, 49m2 terrace, ground floor, south west facing, limited view. 2’750’000 CHF (including parking right, furniture and equipment). There are no restrictions for foreigners to buy real estate in Andermatt. Let me know if you need any further information.

Is Swiss good for real estate investing?

It depends on the region, real estate and your expectations. Andermatt is a good location, steady 3-5% annual growth. Also Switzerland is excellent for the capital preservation. But the real estate market is very small and partly restricted for the foreigners.

Yes, that is true. The flats in this residence are dim because of the finishes. The other buildings have more light.

The hotel is actually super disappointing. There are many 5-star houses that are far better!

I stayed at Chedi couple of times. The rooms are amazing and I loved the Japanese restaurant, cigar lounge and service in general. What is your favourite alpine hotel?

@@sanderrecommends our room had several stains, damaged furniture, hair, unfinished drinks in the minibar... it was quite catastrophic 😱 In Switzerland, Villa Honegg is amazing. Very small and intimate. Stayed a few times, enjoy every time! Also, 7132 is fantastic, especially if you have a thing for architecture. Are you familiar with either of these?

I am very sorry that Hotel Chedi has given you such an impression. I hope they will improve. Yes, I have heard of Villa Honegg, but it is not my taste. Hotel 7132, on the other hand, looks incredible. Thanks for the tip, will definitely check it out!

@@sanderrecommends is it anything specific that doesn't appeal to you at Villa Honegg? Genuinely curious =) I've been to 7132 multiple times now, the 5* and 4* House of Architects. It feels like a James Bond lair.
