I lived in Manhattan from 1987-1995. You could rent a Loft for $1 a square foot. That’s right we had s 2,000 square foot Loft in Tribeca for $2,000 a month. When we moved out of our Loft in Soho in 1991 we were the last Artist/Architects in the building and it was all Lawyers and Finance people taking over. Lower Manhattan has changed so much it’s mind blowing.

A few years ago I missed my chance at a sweet little affordable studio with French doors and a 20x30 deck with a river view. I’ve been looking for a dream home ever since, and I’m now obsessed with this channel. My price range is around a couple of million dollars less than today’s place, though. 😂 Also, RIP the cactus I had since fourth grade. I thought it was immortal, too.

@@MamaCarola1 I have been up since 5AM this morning, thank you very much. I have a non-profit board meeting every Sunday now and so when a Cash video drops, I'm already engaged with something else. Therefore, I don't get to see them (if I even watch them at all) until the afternoon and sometimes very late afternoon. I try to catch up with "priority" (Sorry, Cash) ie various news programs. The village & alphabet city is no longer gritty with those prices! But i do like this place. Private whole floor with keyed elevator access & the finishes are nice. But Where's the doorman? For that kind of price you should be able to expect a doorman. & a combo washer/dryer in the kitchen??? I think the architect & designers should have thought that 1 out better. Still in the fence about the price tho.

Pink Floyd once sang., "money money money money, money!!!" Yep folks that's all it takes....😂 Love the outside terraces.... The brick laying patterns are so nice and finished looking instead of ordinary cement.. didn't care much though for the frosted bottom half of the glass in the bathroom. You could still see everything that's going on even through the frosting. Would pass on that for sure.

Nice apartment. The outdoor space is a big bonus as is the location. But 3 Bd 3 bth in 1600 square feet is a bit tight. And that combo washer and dryer is a non-starter. They take forever to do your laundry.
