Most of us grew up terrified of Michael Myers, the masked murderer from the movie “Halloween.” The idea of living in his house sounds like our worst nightmare. But for Kenny Caperton, that’s home. The “Halloween” mega fan poured his passion for the 1978 horror film into building a replica of Myers’s house in Hillsborough, North Carolina.

This guy is cool. Every year close to Halloween, he has an event where he plays a couple movies in a big yard. He has a person from one of the movies there to sign memorabilia and take pictures. My favorite so far was last year. He had the fisherman from I know What You did Last Summer. He even had the hook. He was a great guy. Everyone involved in all of that is always great.

I've been to the official Myer's house in South Pasadena, California. It's a light blue color now & is not in the same location as in the film. Someone bought the home & had it moved up the street. Kenny is an inspiration to us horror fans 🎃

Oh Kenny that is so awesome. I also grew up a fan living in the original area of both pats of the movie. Burbank, close by. I watched it get moved yes bk to preserve it from demolition. 1999/2000. Then restored to its beauty u see now. Was an office rental last I noticed. Have u come to visit it? I’d b so happy as a fan to take u around the locations of u ever come to Los Angeles.
