@@JoseArteagaTravels Viva Mexico & Paraguay! Btw we just beat Venezuela in the World Cup qualifying game. It's going to be nuts in downtown Asunción tonight, haha. But thanks again man, really enjoyed it and glad we were able to collab. I'll release our video tomorrow night here. It's taking forever to convert. Take care! And thanks to everyone who has already subscribed to my channel. You're all amazing!

Just subscribed to your channel, Ryan. Jose helped my husband and I move to Merida about 5 years ago. Looking forward to learning from you about Paraguay. Best wishes to you!

Paraguay keeps coming up. I have got to check it out. One of their official languages is an indigenous language. So much respect. Jose is my favorite Cuban, after Celia Cruz. Azucar!

Best of Luck to Ryan. We also just moved from Wisconsin (Madison) to Merida. We always felt safe in Wisconsin and made some memories there, but desided to move to Merida for other reasons. We wish Ryan the best of life. hope his channel grows and he gets to grow with his family there.

This is an interview of a REAL person that is just putting it out there! I am so sick and tired of all the censorship in the US media... We all know life has ups and downs on a personal level, but the MEDIA over here in the USA puts such a spin on things that we are always breaking our necks to try to keep up with the so-called good life!! In Reality I think more people are sick of the cycle of WORK to work more for more STUFF and in the end all ya have is stuff! ugh!! But I digress! THANK YOU JOSE for always being real and showing the other side of things!

So happy to hear that you enjoyed the interview so much! As You know more and more people are fed up with what is going on and are just going where they are treated best and have a better quality of life simple as that. Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts with us! Glad you enjoyed it!

Agreed, thank you José for the opportunity to come on your channel. Was a pleasure. Far too many people unfortunately relate to the struggle- especially the economic struggle back in the States, and the urgency to move abroad. Much appreciate your comment overall @dianaj3139 :) Lastly, I am also sick of the gaslighting narrative that everyone is doing fine in the USA. No, we're not. The American Dream living in any of the 50 states is unattainable, especially if you're younger still trying to build yourself or work your way up in society/professionally. You'll spend an agonizing lifetime trying to achieve it or hold on to it. I urge folks to move abroad... to Paraguay, México, or wherever where they can be economically sound and experience a new sense of very-much-earned happiness that is desperately missing from our daily lives in the USA.

I wonder how free Paraguay is compared to Mexico
@JoseArteagaTravelsАй бұрын
Great question! Seems like they have tons of Freedom there too! Makes you wonder even more about how Free the USA and Canada really are 😅
@hoppeanofasgard1365Ай бұрын
@@JoseArteagaTravels I've done deep dives on that before, and for the most part I think the freedom in the US greatly exaggerated. Canada is even worse from everything I've read, although I don't think that was the case in the 90s. Long story short the US is over regulated, there's way to many police just itching to give you a fine for the smallest infraction, the idea of protect and serve has been replaced with serve the state and enforce the laws, and if you're a guy the courts are really going to be against you in practically any case that involves you vs a woman. The US seems to only fair well in lax gun laws, but short of that I don't see the appeal in it. Some people claim they haven't had to much of a hassle and don't get hounded by the government to much when they started or currently run their business, but that seems to only be in a handful of states, and even then it's entirely dependent on the industry. The US government really likes to stick its nose in everything, and anytime officials spot a sector of the economy that's still free they will cry that it's too much like the "wildwest" and needs regulation. Long since gone are the days of live and let live in both the US and Canada. I can't even ride around in the back of a pick up truck anymore with me getting in trouble with the law and the driver of the vehicle. Sad really.

@@hoppeanofasgard1365 Hello my friend, I can confirm that the government essentially leaves you alone down here. On top of that you don't even need to pay any taxes on income gained outside of Paraguay.
