José, there have been European Americans , who stayed longer or unbehaved, then they have been deported. In my opinion, It does matter if you are from Latín América, USA, Canadá, Australia, Europe in Mexico everybody should be treated the same way. If you do not behave in Mexico then you should be deported, a long Time ago in Playa del Carmen there was a Dutch woman , she was ilegal as she went above her Time, she was acting like a manager in a hotel, but she was a total B..tch..She shouted at everybody, she tried to belittle me, but i said to her...F.. it.. Get out of my country, i called instituto nacional de migración and i filed a complain, then everybody joined me , she was deported, she Is in Holland, what a shame that in 2005 we did not have KZbin or social media or Mobile with camera, so i could have filmed and prove it that México deports European American and also Europeans. My friend went to complain about a European American from the USA in Puerto Vallarta 15 years ago, he was deported ..Watch this video . kzbin.infoQVk5W-8yJBI?si=Om42s7MkjzEhffob

Santa Jose! As always bringing thoughts about Choices, be it New Years resolutions or making a positive change in life! I am back in Mexico, but unfortunately, I caught some sort of flu/cold bug and looking at the positive side, it gives me time to watch more KZbin videos on Mexico which I will soon get out and enjoy to the fullest :) Thanks for everything you share!

I'm packing up my 3bdrm home and giving away all my stuff to. my neighbors...the house should be empty by Saturday afternoon . It feels weird. Off to visit family for a few days and then me and the dog have a one-way ticket to Mexico City at the end of the month. I'm hoping I get the automatic 180 days....so I can get this new life kickstarted. No lies it's hard paring down from a 3bdm house to fitting my life into two suitcases, though!

They do ask you how long you are staying and for a return ticket. They asked me coming from US. I think it just depends on immigration officer. Great video!
@JoseArteagaTravels5 күн бұрын
Those immigration officers asking you for a return ticket in Mexico get a kickback of some sort from the airlines. Next time that happens tell them you prefer to purchase your ticket later since you dont know your exact return date and that you can get cheaper rates, and that is not enough ask to speak to a supervisor and you will be let through eventually. At the land border they let Americans in without having to show a passport let alone any kind of proof if you are leaving or not. Thanks for sharing with us!

What if you have a pet? Is there a way to move there and avoid all the vaccinations and other requirements that only threaten your pet's health - even if you have to pay for it? To do this is it better to drive or even cruise or are there semi-private flights or strategies of how to avoid the red tape? If so, how much more would it cost?
@JoseArteagaTravels5 күн бұрын
They ask for certain vaccinations and paperwork at the border when coming into the country either by land or plane. Unfortunately there is no way to get around the border agents that I know of. Once in Mexico the pets you have can go with out anything you don't agree with.

Hola Emmy! I drove in and they say you need to only show proof of a rabies vaccination and nothing else. The guards met my cat at Customs when I opened my back hatch and she happily greeted them while they were looking at the boxes I was bringing in but they never asked if she had her rabies shots. I had the paperwork for her but not for me so I was able to skirt in. Buena suerte desde la hermosa Ensenada!

Mexico is trying to be the USA but just don’t have the expertise to execute the infrastructure. The contractors half ass all the jobs even the nice expat condos. Haven’t met one person who was satisfied living down there. But hey, different strokes for different folks.

Interesting take! Most of the people I come across actually love living in Mexico. Either way, Thanks for sharing with us!
@e.t.10882 күн бұрын
The first mistake is to expect other countries to have America's infrastructure. Mexico is beautiful, it's now a narco state with a radical liberal new woman president but other than that it's a beautiful place to live in comfy if you have some US dollars coming in and knowledge of basic spanish or atleast street lingo to survive.
