Living in Van on Property Crazy Lady Update Problems

Living in the Camper Van full-time so far for 3 weeks on property and have had a few problems. This is an update on things that I did so far to make it bit easier to live on the land and things that didn't work out so well and a crazy lady is harassing us and police have been called a few times now.

Dude, when that woman shows up... You get that camera rolling and take video of everything she says and does... It will save your *ss when you need it... Also, post no trespassing sign on your property...

You should get rid of the garden hose for water and get a white rv hose. The garden hoses contain lead in the rubber and is not good for potable water.

I've had a problem with tiny fruit fly things and have discovered if you just get a little container or bowl and out a mix of dishwashing liquid and apple cider vinegar in it, it will attract these tiny midge/fruit fly/bugs -- even after the shortest time you can see how many you get.m. It really does work, try it ! Hope this helps. A.x

Its more than enough for 2 people. Would only need to be serviced maybe every 5 years IF we lived here all the time. But with traveling and what not maybe every 10 years or so. Not to bad.

Get some mint plants or mint oil and spray around the tires and a perimeter around the van- helps keep away the pest. Spray the lady too! Lol lol! Dilute the mint oil(extract) with water. You can get the extract at the store in the baking isle.

Hey Bro. I like your vidoes. very cool keep them coming? I would definitely file a restraining order against her as soon as possible, just to protect yourself and your wife. As for her cabin that's on the property right now? normally if it does not have a axle on it or a hitch to make it mobile then it could be yours after a certain amount of time? But everything inside it as of now!! is legally hers to get? But that's not totally saying it's hers without a fight for it! It's mostly time that is the determining factor in cases like this? a person normally has 30 days when a eviction notice is served to vacate the property. even if a foreclosure notice is issued! ! and that's after they have been served by law enforcement and in foreclosure cases it could be even longer depending on the state it's in. but most states will give you 90 days after the property has been foreclosed on, but this can be dragged out for as much as 24 months? I hate to say!! I'm sure she is more than likely worried about that cabin on the property more than anything else on the property? and it also seems to me that you as well? Especially if you went to the extreme measure of putting up bars on the windows and installing a security door? as you stated in the video? I'm just hope a Judge does not see the video in this case? In the future refrain yourself from any videos regarding this property and the previous owner? So I'm thinking that the cabin is a very important part of the dispute regarding the property? and unfortunately a Judge will to. And I can tell you with experience that if that cabin was not built on the property site and was trucked in? then a Judge is more than likely going to consider it mobile. sometimes they will grant it a part of the property but more than likely they will not at all? I know you don't want to hear that!! but unfortunately it is what it is. And especially if you told law enforcement she can pick up her property? and you give her dates and times to do so? That unfortunley leaves the door open for her to come on your property at will. And it's just that, your property!!! not the stuff on it, including the cabin. If your purchased the property with no dwelling on it? and what mean by dwelling is a house that was built on site that there were fees paid to the county for planned development and building code enforcement to inspect? then it's all yours. If not then legally it is hers especially if you agree for her to pick her things up? But that all changes if she waits to long? most states are six months and some are 3 months. Even if she was evicted or she received a forclosure notice. forclosure notices from a lender even if private meaning by a owner can even lengthen the eviction process. because it's all the same in the eyes of the court. it served the same way by law enforcement. it's just getting it to that point that takes time. There are special considerations in forclosures. which takes lots of time but once it gets to the point we're law enforcement gets evolved to serve a physical eviction then it's the same. If she persist I would just let her take the cabin and everything else on the property. because if she were to take you to court she would come out on top. I hate to say? But if the cabin was built there and permitted then by all means pursue it. Just a bit of legal advice to you. Unfortunately that is how our system works? for the most part it works good. but unfortunately some times bad people can gain the system. Good luck with the property. For a shower place, what would you think of using 4 X 4 or 5 X 4 wooden stockade fence to just make a shower room. Also, ask for a mental evaluation.

You have to put no trespassing signs up all over the property. Talk with the sheriff and local law to find out the legality of it. But where we are, our law told us to put up signs and if anyone doesn't follow it I can arrest them myself. It's a tuff one but when your dealing with crazy you have to know your laws and what you can and can not do. The crazy one in the end has more rights than you do if you don't make it clear. Sounds like you are allowing it to continue. Bad move bro. The law will say you told them she was allowed to get her stuff. Put it out on the road and tell the law to tell her to never return. Robert Christopherson I agree fully. I just want to give her one more allowance to pick up stuff.. Law enforcement already knows this and they know we will be calling for one last escort then she is not allowed anywhere near the property and a restraining order will only confirm that. She will be arrested and charged with trespassing and violating a restraining order.. Much more serious then just trespassing. Thanks for the great info!

Good call! The previous owners dont want anything off the land so we will just let this lady take everything that was left here except for the cabin. All else is garbage basically anyways. But this lady seems to love garbage so we want her to take it all haha.

Why don't you put in a second RV hookup and rent it out or have a few subs who are in the area "land sit" for you while you are out roaming in exchange for "rent." IDK where you are, but someone, somewhere might be "there" or just passing through and need a place to park and explore. Keeps crazy ladies away or in the back of a police car and your property safe. What was all that wet ground around your sewer connection? It can't be leaking cause that would suck too much. I didn't get a good look at your water connection was that a hand pump? Sorry to hear about your awning. I think wind will be an issue for you since you seem extremely exposed. My folks lived next to a miserable delusional neighbor. It was a real nightmare. I hope you have better luck. Now that you have established that you are within your rights keep the cops on speed dial.

That Gopher snake will keep the area clean of rodents and other snakes. So I would leave it alone. As for the lady. Just let it go. Worse thing you can do is let other people make their problems yours. Let her get her stuff and be done with it. As I don't like courts getting in my stuff. you own the property i take it now? The one thing i suggest because your not in a rural rural area is go invest a few grand in a area fence. Inclose your house or a parking area for your van it will help help with everything. Also if she makes a claim that the cabin is hers, and you allow her to come get her stuff one more times, she will try to take it or could make a claim for it, unless you can prove she didnt put it there and the privious actual owner did put it there!

Hang in there with the "crazy lady." The tini-tiny flies might be what we call "No See 'Ems" which are attracted to fruit esp. bananas. You can get rid of them by putting out a small saucer of Apple Cider vinegar which also attracts them and they end up drowning themselves.

No not at all. Only 2 houses around here and on is vacant and the other neighbor helps me out around the land and I have paid for his labour and hes super nice and loved the idea of living small. Thanks for watching!
