In all the times we've driven to Colorado, we've never stopped to explore the beautiful city of Palisade. While it might feel like a small town on the California coast with the endless wineries, it still has some uniqueness that we seek to explore before driving East towards Denver.

Wind along the front range is always a problem, ya'll are nestled right up against the hog backs where record wind speeds are a possibility. Hope you're not caught in the snow storm that was predicted 03/13-14-2024. Take us on a hike up the Waterton Canyon while you are there.

Oh my! You two are soooooo much fun & I totally enjoy your videos! HOWEVER, my family is from Colo & LOVED it when it was the best kept secret in the world! It’s sad to see it getting so crowded & busy! Tooooo many people in our gorgeous State! Don’t talk it up toooo much, tee hee! Let’s keep it from getting too crazy! Be safe!

OMG! We hate the wind too! You'll never find us on a sailboat either, LoL!! Loved Barkley's crossed piggies! It's funny when our Carl is in his crate (we call it the hole) he sticks his front legs out and crosses them. It's like an inmate watching the warden walking around LoL!! 🤣

OMGOSH Colorado dryness and the altitude always gets to me. Migraines are the worst helps with the scenery though. Love the travels along the Colorado river, we love the trip through Bryers Canyon and Hot Sulfur Springs, to Grandby. The train whistling through the canyon is awesome.

Late winter and early spring on the front range of Colorado can be crazy windy. In college I the 70s at CSU, I played an intramural softball game in 70 mph winds. We put all three outfielders in the right field at different distances from home plate. The wind is only negative thing my wife and I found about living here. Fortunately, we bought our house 15 years ago or I don’t think we could afford to move here.

I came across on I70 and hit that snow and cold weather with chains required for commercial vehicles middle of January. That's always a tough drive. Then all the way across Nebraska it can be closed too o I 80. Used to drive regularly to Cheyenne to see my parents. We loved camping in vida vieus (sp?) Natnl Park. They do rock climbing there on weekends. Between Laramie and Cheyenne. Loved WY camping. Lots to see.

O have a 12 year old dog got extremely ill in her 11th year. Please do not do that anesthesia with deep cleaning to your dogs teeth. Your making a mistake. It's not necessary. Google it and the dangers

Same. We just had our 11 year old Dachshund put under for a deep teeth cleaning and she had 2 severe seizures after waking up. Had to stay the night at the vet and cost several hundred dollars. Scared the crap out of us.
