What I think is great and instructive about @Cavy Fishing 🎣 videos, is that he shows both the hits-and-misses; whether rod & reel, hand spear or spear gun. How challenging it is to harvest food from the water, how to be selective and sustainable, and to both know when to stop and to keep going. Great video. A quick suggestion, maybe you’ve done it past videos but it would be cool to hear your thought processes as you’re diving under water. Like have some narration or a voice over as you show the footage. Just to understand what you were seeing and what you were hoping to do. Loving the content. Keep it up mate.

@@CavyFishing I used to fly fish flats a lot for bonefish and got a real scare from a bull once. He only wanted my fish, but it was right next to me. The guy I was with broke his rod when he tripped while running away. Now I feel like they’re always watching... waiting. 😂

awesome video bro. just a small tip when spear fishing. you have the aim but you are too eager to chase the fish around with your speargun searching for the shot. slow things down, make minimal movement, make clicks. Fish are curious and many will turn for a second look. Take more of a stalk approach then a chase.

Epic! I wanna start doing some mixed camping fishing surfing trips. How to do you keep you spinning gear in good condition while on these rough trips? I would guess not spending much fresh water cleaning them if you have to pack it all in, what’s the idea with gear maintenance
