Well done, sir! When you update your lights consider adding some to the side & back for general vis/security. Wranglerstar has a bunch of vids on the light system he added to his new Transit van; you might get some ideas/inspiration there.

My hunting camp utilizes 2 busses for living quarters and storage. One update we did was to tint the windows, the second update was solar powered security lights. We picked up some from harbor freight for 40 bucks.

How much have you spent on the bus at this point because it’s truly an amazing portable hunt camp and I was wonder the pro and cons between building one or getting an RV when it come to cost. Again love what you guys are doing. Be safe in your travels and adventures. Wishing you nothing but the best in your future endeavors. God bless

Love the bus. This Corona situation got me without job but luckily got a gig at USPS haha. Saving up for a bus and would probably focus more on the driving cockpit and desk area. Drove an 18 wheeler for some time before my accident so sleeping in small places wont be an issue as long as its memory foam and my ol pillow n blanket is with me. You have a functional set up too. Not much I would change. A train horn maybe, mirror with built in cargo for shovel, brooms, shotgun. Would put a L shaped desk in the back instead of a bed in order to make it more for my work area and leave the whole fromt side of the bus for living room/bedding. Also the bathroom situation is a must for me haha 😂. Also would recommend to buy a CB radio, its essential for on the road situations in order to know of any accidents. Also some funny stuff happens there too😂

Suggestions, on some space, money saving and space saving. I drove truck for years so had it equipped to live on the road. There is a company, Webasto. The y make a diesel fired heater but only heats air in a chamber, the exhaust goes outside the hot air goes in, they never mix. It burns about a quart of diesel a night, has it's own fuel pump that pumps out of the trucks tank, makes no noise except air blowing, no fumes, ne need to open windows. They also make a water heater on the same design, has it's own fuel pump, thermostat, has a water pump, and uses about the same amount of fuel. They make a block heater for cold weather and I heard an AC unit. Check Ebay or the net, prices are all over the place. 600 for heater complete, 1100 for water heater complete would be good.

Have you thought of adding a RV style hook up to the bus. 30 AMP would be more than enough power, and it would let you have a place to stop for the night in almost every city on the map. Great video guys.

That is an awesome huntin' bus! I saw so many cool bus conversions when I used to go to alot of NASCAR races! You didn't show your batteries, but I would go with a sealed battery of some kind. A typical trolling motor type lead acid battery can explode when in a confined space during charging.

That is a great schoolie build. Iv'e been toying with the prospect of doing some sort of over the road housing . Keeping it simple without plumbing seems like a good idea, I guess you could always use a 5 gallon bucket with a shopping bag and toss it out at the nearest dumpster?? Great bus review.. Nice video. Thanks for sharing..
@Intimidator825 жыл бұрын
Wow, that bus has it all. I have a 31 foot travail trailer and I would way rather have that bus for the hunting and fishing excursions. Great job on the interior work Sam. Only thing I would change is the power plant under the hood. More ponies for Hilly terrain and all the gear of multiple hunters. Possibly a buddy seat for a couple extra passengers to carpool on longer trips. My high school bus was this exact model ours could barely peel the skin off of a pudding, just no power.
