Finally, Dr. John Piper has seen the subjective nature of our Faith, which is NOT a gift. It is something we muster/exercise. We are not pots of clay, as Apostle Paul argues in Romans 9:21; we are living beings with a freewill!

All Christians agree that faith is a subjective thing. Calvinists don't deny that. If you are saying simply that Paul is wrong in Rom 9:21, then your doctrine of Scripture is seriously flawed. You need to integrate all Scripture into your theology.

Surely, you don't believe we are pots of clay, as Apostle Paul argues in Romans 9:21; we are living beings with a freewill! "Dead in trespasses" (Eph 2:1) =\= dead, requiring resuscitation == whoever does not believe in Christ, STANDS condemned already (Jn3:18).

However, let me challenge you on a couple of points this time, if I may: First, I don't think I have heard before of anyone saying that they earn faith or of anyone opposing that idea. When you say that Caleb is suggesting that faith is earned, do you really mean that he is suggesting that SALVATION is earned by exercising non-gift faith? Second, I think I would disagree with you if you say that seeing faith as not a gift means earning salvation. If a beggar holds out his hand and someone puts money in it, no one would seriously say that that beggar partly earned the money by holding out his hand. Similarly, if we hold out our hand in faith to God to receive the gift of salvation, it makes no sense to see us as partly earning salvation, even if faith is not seen as a gift.

It says to be wise as serpents but gentle as doves. It's important to understand your enemy and his devices, but to study them as a demonologist would be giving them glory that belongs to Jesus. Seek Him and His kingdom and He will give you all the understanding of the enemy you need. Read His word, He is the bread of life. When Jesus was being tempted by satan He used the word to combat against him and said, 'man cannot live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds forth out of the mouth of God'. Words are spirit and His word is the Spirit of life, satan is polar opposite. Seek life brother not death. You cannot overcome evil with evil. I pray this helps. Much love and peace
