Dominique, I LOVE how you always honor God. I had to bring my daughter home from studying abroad for a medical emergency, almost lost my dad to the RSV virus, to bringing him home to care for him at home (I’m a nurse) to my mom “slipping the rug from under us”…passing away a mere 3 weeks ago. You want to talk about being sucker punched over & over. And although I’ll admit I am a title confused in this raw moment, I know for a fact that if it wasn’t for my faith I wouldn’t have survived these past few week. I picked my very first Bible and have been reading it almost every morning. I’m holding on to God more than I have ever in my life. I am so incredibly grateful for the relationship I have with HIM. I know HE will bring me through the valley I’m in right now. Thank you again for always praising our Lord & Savior.

Much love. 💕 I agree, I'm suffering a recent loss but I have more joy and peace that that and even my husband is surprised because my life is changing immensely for losing mt best friend. I just lost my grandmother two years ago that was like a mom. We always miss them and carry them with us. If not for the relationship with Jesus I know I wouldn't be able to carry through this way. 🙏✨🕊️ I'm happy if He can use these experiences for His glory! The positive to come out of the negative.

I agree with you - Get the exercises done by noon at the latest or they fly out of the window ! I also agree with everything you said about living a healthy lifestyle = the best food that you can afford, plenty of fresh air and exercise every day (and a glass of wine while relaxing in the evening !).....your lovely Mother was testament to that. Thank you so much for this video, I loved every minute of it.

My beautiful mother had a lovely leopard robe and I thought of her immediately, when I saw you in your mother’s. If we are fortunate and blessed enough to have a strong relationship with our mothers, like you and I were, they become such an integral fiber of our being. Even once they leave this earthly place. My mother passed 41 years ago, when I was just 26. Yet today, when I saw your robe, I instantly “felt her presence” just as you did with your mom. My mom was a fun, classy lady, full of life much like yours. I wonder if they have become friends in the “here after” and decided to visit us together today through your beautiful VLOG? Either way, thank you for that “moment” 💝

Thank you for sharing with us a glimpse into your private life and being so real. I’m taking notes on the healthy parts of your morning that I’d like to add to mine. I love that you share Time with Jesus, as I also begin my day the same. My big takeaway is your journaling at the end of your day with a focus on your gratitude. I love this and want to start the same. My husband passed away a month ago at the age of 87. Like your mom he was a vibrant man who loved life. But Alzheimer’s tried to take that away from him. I believe God’s love for him gave him the fight to be able to go with dignity and love for his family. Your manner of dealing with your grief has inspired me to hold fast to God and his purpose for me in this new season. God bless you Dominique.💕

I lost my mom on June 10, 2023. I retired June 1, 2019 and it took 6 months to figure out the what next. I always said I’d retire when I started having grandchildren. At 62 I retired. My father retired at 65 and passed away at 69. Since I have similar health issues as my dad, I wonder. Six months into retirement I became my mom’s primary care provider for the 3&1/2 years until her passing. Still very lost and have many emotional days. Yesterday I took my first step in my me first mission. Signed up for a weight loss program (I can’t do it on my own). And today yoga classes. I have a slight torn meniscus from lifting my mom so need to take it easy. Best wishes to you as you journey forward without your mom.
