These seats are amazing but previous generation had also very comfortable seats- loved these semi leather- in my opinion you can complain about some thing in Volvo cars but you can't say bad word about seats. I do trips 423 miles long every month without any stops and I leave a car without any pain. There is one thing to S60/V60 worth noting, driving position is quite high so if you like to sit closer to the ground like in BMW then you can be disappointed about how low you can go. I have ocean race package with 18" rims and I also went for standard profile tyres and changed to 235/45R18 XL. So for anyone wondering if they can fit I have none problems. I also had problem with bent rims but it might because of low profile tyres or how previous owner driven.

I have a 2018 Volvo V60 Cross Country with Osmium Gray paint. Adam mentioned that the armrest in the door is not great. I agree and also think he neglected to mention that the center armrest also sucks. The "floating" center console eats up space that pushes the cupholders back, which then pushes the center armrest back. You really don't have room to adequately rest your forearm, which is okay when you're driving around town, but sucks when you're traveling long distances. I also have challenges with the footwell, as I can't really adjust my left leg due to the way it's constructed. I pretty much have to stretch it out the entire time, instead of being able to bring my leg into a 45 degree angle. Other than the above, the car is a pleasure to drive. With the right tires, it handles WAY better than you would expect and the hp and torque are more than enough.

Is there anyone in the comments here who have owned a p3 v70 and a v60 that could tell me how they compare in terms of comfort (like road bumps, noise etc..) and driveability, id imagine the v60 feels more sportier. I currently own a 2012 xc60 with the d3 twin turbo engine and it is an absolute riot to drive since it also has a stage 2 tune but it is by far the most uncomfortable ride of all the volvos ive owned, every single imperfection let alone bump in the road really "rackets" the car about, in comparison to the 2011 s80 i had the chance to drive for about 10 minutes, that thing absorbed bumps without issue and barely had any road noise with 17" wheels. Id like to get a p3 v70 next but im also eyeing the v60 since it's a tad smaller and i live alone so the v70 would be a bit needlessly large but if the v70 is as premium feeling as the p2 gen v70 then id be inclined to go with that. My xc60 feels like a tin can when closing the doors, it has that ugly echoey sound to it which the p2 v70 didnt.

Good walkthrough of the V60. Found a base model 2016 (only option is keyless start) with 19k. Was curious to see if I was missing out on other options and it sounds like even with the better suspension and wheels you have to live with a harsher ride. I personally think the base 17s with the stock suspension is already a bit on the firm side, but I’m just used to floaty cars!
@fcpeuro2 жыл бұрын
Base with the 17s will definitely ride smoother! It really depends on your style of driving, most drivers don't need the sport suspension, especially if you have some rough roads near you. But even the non-sport suspension will handle corners quite well!

you may have already bought your nice P3 by now, just wanted to add my fresh thoughts on the ride comfort. I used the P2 S80 for 10.5 yrs and recently switched to a V60 mk1 with 18 wheels, and ehh.. it turned out to be a tradeoff.. NVH is noticeably worse in this newer car (especially in the rear seats - my passangers complained haha) and you don't feel that indestructible monolithic Volvo sorrunding. Some of this may have to do sthg with the wagon vs sedan chassis, but I also feel that there was less attention/money spent in this area on the newer car.. anyway.. I wanted to drive something newer (but still not a 2.0 VEA version) so I made my move. enjoy your Volvo!

My opinion could be slightly biased, lol, but Like i said; I have driven all the Volvo engines and the base and tuned t6 is the best for these models. I'm glad to hear that volvo's legendary safety rep was proved in your case! I have a 2015 v60 t6 r design with the 3.0 and it’s by far the best way to go. The 2.0 is just way under powered and the just to the 3.0 is slight with a massive performance jump. Do you really believe that car is a good car? 10 years from now that car will not be supported by Volvo. Has the oil consumption coming along?
@KClife9TV2 жыл бұрын
One thing I know is volvo suck. So expensive to repair. They charge you like it's a Lamborghini for Pete sake. The repairs are so expensive you could buy that car twice because of that. I hate these things so much. They are loud from road noise, wind, clunky, jerky, rattle in bumps so on.

@@aknovaman ? Not sure I understand what your asking. My S80 I had since 2012. Then I had a XC70 for 3 years. All the same issues

"Want to drive?" "Uh... I'll let you drive" Re-watching this after discovering my oil consumption issue and reading between the lines, I'm realizing you guys are saying you don't like this car.
