It’s a huge topic ,you need to think that a family member is coming to a unknown house by leaving her existing family.it’s a responsibility of the in laws family to make the bride feel like her own home. It’s not right to make her feel burden with unrealistic expectations. Once both party are comfortable,the girl’s duty is to treat in-laws like her own parents .it’s that simple . Why to make it complicated with putting a lot of expectations inbetween

Dont focus more on single stuff like sex or negative thoughts like divorce etc.... both go for a premarriage councilling nd a post marriage councilling sessions with qualified doctors/psychologists .Ppl are growing day by day.. nobody is 100% perfect.
@et88533 жыл бұрын
@@RAJUBHAI-ww7em I am from Kerala.In our religion we have compulsory 3days session of councilling from doctors,psychologists,relationship advisors.Then we get a completion certificate.Then only we can do traditional marriage in our religion.Apart from religion from my opinion we have to go through premarriage nd post marriage counseling from qualified ppl.Whether it working out may depends on couple and counselor.

Expecting a new Bride to live her In-laws is insane, unnatural, and so unfair, in my humble opinion. Why not wait till the Parents are older, so the couple can grow together and be a united front. The man must understand how difficult this can be, and really be aware and kind to her, and be willing to change things, a little, at least, like help her with cooking, a little, or give her a kiss and some affection in front of his Parents, and talk to his Mother, if she is hurting his wife's feelings. If a guy can't do that, in this day and age, he is not ready to marry ! ...... I had a 27 year old Indian Lover. He needed money and was making not much, so I suggested he get an isolated job, to earn big bucks, for a while. He actually answered "My Parents wouldn't let me do that". I was shocked and stunned, and weirdly embarrassed for him. His Parents are choosing a wife for him now. I wouldn't want to be her, as sweet as he is. He's educated, his degree is only valid in India, so his Mom has chosen a girl that's religious and uneducated (it is not set yet). She'll be dutiful and trapped with Mama's boy...... I hope I don't offend anyone. May a Canadian gal share her experience and opinion ? I'm a lot older, so I can see tons of future problems, because of inexperience and certain hang ups, if you know what I mean.

Mam I have a question ..... Why don't women who are Earning and independent.... Marry a guy who will be her *househusband* .... Instead they will choose a guy , who makes way more money than her ... They will leave their job to be his housewife , pay dowry , live with his toxic inlaws .... And then come on social media complaining how unfair her life has been and blame misogyny or patriarchal society.

Omgoodness, you are funny, as if all women with a career does the same thing. I imagine they have a right to complain, though, if that happens. Don't you think most women are very pressured by family and society to marry, and criticized if they don't ? So many people get married into unfair marriages. It's difficult.

@@Hari-bz1mh why shouldn't they. A new member is coming into the family. A company also have expectations from new employees that they will take the company to new level. Now as working culture we can compare family with company right.
