@@JAILFOOD honestly its better overall than my previous car (2015 audi rs7) because the performance is so much more useable and that v6T is for me the perfect sweet spot, the fuel economy is amazing and i just LOVE the cabin!. I had a audi rs4 2018 for a couple of months but i far prefer my 2020 A7 55tfsi due to the ride and cabin + in the real world the performance is just as useable.

the most impressive thing about this car is that it does the same 100-200 as the audi sq8 TFSI (which is a ttv8 with 510hp!)

Needs a tune for the tcu, sluggish from factory. Night and day on my RS3. Unitronic does wonders.

Everybody with DQ500 gearbox should take contact with TVSengineering dealer - their dsg software is noticeable smoother, responsive to paddles, stable on right gear and also does not hold the revs under 2000revs so therefor you become also smaller turbo lag. Of course theres no need to map the ECU, you can stay on stock performance, but the DSG tune is from my experience totally MUST have

@@srdiaries3981 Thank you! :) Well, I simply love it! It doesnt feel heavy and bulky, but quick and agile. The grunt form the 6 cyclinder is also really appealing for me. It is not like a Boxster/Cayman like some journalists like to say, but put in sport+ and you will have fun. It is also very comfortable to travel long distances in and I am quite happy withe the fuel consumption as well. The size is also perfect, because I do drive it into the city now and then. A very good compromise of sport and practicality, which is just right for me as a daily :) I whole heartedly recommend the Macan! ;)

I love the look and sound of this car. Was hoping to change my SQ5 for one of these. However, one of the downsides of the SQ5 is the lag. So really disappointed to hear the same thing from different reviews regarding the lag and gearbox on the RSQ3.

If anyone is looking to save even MORE money, don't overlook the Audi Q2. That car doesn't get reviewed enough. They made it lightwight, so even with the entry level 1400cc 4 cylinder, I have plenty of fun with it in the city. Same turbo lag, but I put it into manual to shift it myself and get plenty of torque from it that way. It costs probably is 1/3 to 1/4 the price of an RSQ3, but doesn't have the sweet engine and exhaust sound.

With the automatic being so nervous, a bordcomputer option (to leave the gear choice up to the driver) and/or software update would be nice. A manual transmission would be nice as well.

Shouldn’t be changing gears if the gearbox is in ”D” mode! It does that if you’re in ”S” mode, sense it is for more spirited driving where it is useful for the engine to be more responsive. Also engaging cruise control makes the car to pick a specific gear and stops the gearbox from wandering around, even in gearbox ”S” mode.

OMG my mum's Skoda Yeti from ten years back had exactly the same problems with horrendous turbo lag and the gearbox 'fighting' you and constantly gear-hunting. If this RS Q3 were mine I'd be looking into an ECU flash with ABT or someone to see if there's a solution to these irritating issues? I mean this is pretty much near enough in the same class/price range as a Macan...! Oh, and my recommendation for a daily summer driver? A Range Rover Evoque convertible :P
