This seems like you took words out of my mouth. There used to be a constant feeling of being depressed about being single especially after a certain age. I have moved past that now. I have had to deal with people who remotely had no rights to ask me about my relationship, but who would, and give Unsolicited for advice, while at it.! For me who lives in Nigeria, in my forties and unmarried, there is always someone who thinks I am unqualified for respect. I have had to tell people to stop nagging me. I am sane, sound, intelligent, just unmarried! I am contributing my quota for the good of humanity and living to please my maker. I am waiting on God and it will be beautiful in His Time!

Wow! Thanks for sharing your experience, Temitope. Amen to moving past depression, it’s a battle of the mind and God has given us self control. He’s a good Father and He gives good gifts to His children. ‘It will be beautiful in His time’ - YES and AMEN! I believe that for you too.
