A Tiny House Like A Zen Forest

Every now and then you stumble upon a home which has been constructed with true consideration and attention to wellness and quality of life and this tiny house is one of those places.
Immediately upon entering the home it’s like stepping into a zen garden with an abundance of plants and decoration which wonderfully connects the home to the outdoors and nature. With a background in landscape architecture, it’s no surprise that Fabian has masterfully connected the home to his abundant gardens.
This is a well designed tiny house, which focuses on quality of life, versatility, multifunction, and connection to community. The home has been designed around entertaining and the ability to accommodate friends while also creating space for things that Fabian is passionate about such as his music.
Fabian shares the tiny house part time with his partner, Setph, who is also passionate about gardening and growing food. Together, they have established abundant edible gardens on their rented plot of land, which provides much of the food the couple eat.
After years of traveling, Fabian was craving a place he could call home, a space where he could express himself and which would make him feel connected to the land and enable him to put down roots. What he has built in the form of this tiny house is just that and so much more.

Hands down my absolute favorite tiny home so far. This man is a genius at design. Starting with the 3 different ways to use the outdoor space and create different moods. And then that interior was incredible. From the plants, the height of the ceilings, the placement of the windows, the lighting, the kitchen, how created that feature wall to hide the stairs and then separate the bathroom and wardrobe area, and then the cozy bedroom. He could do this for a living. He seems to be skilled in so many things, from music, to gardening, to cooking, to design, well traveled, etc.. He's a bit of a renaissance man in my opinion. Really enjoyed this one Bryce.

It's not often that I watch this channel and see a place I could call home... but here it is. Functionality has always been my prerequisite for judging the livability of any space, but this place is different. Some homes are wildly decorated while others are a blank white canvass, but this home has an almost perfect mix of mute colours, textures, and living spaces. Impressive video. I started a bit late (graduated from my doctorate program at age 30 in 2016 with 170k in school loan debt). Managed to pay off my debt by 2019 and currently have a house and 250k total in investments (combo of profit share, 401k and a brokerage account). I'm not very knowledgeable in investing, so I just have my investing currently in index funds mainly voo, but have been putting a lot into schd the past few months. I dunno if that's the optimal strategy, but psychologically it is very set it and forget it, and prevents me from obsessing over individual stock performance.

Instead of using different brokerage accounts to purchase index funds or individual stock, compare your age(s) and how much time you have estimated till retirement, you can also opt to consulting/working with a fund manager/advisor for an “optimal strategy” to outperform the bear market.
