Excellent video, thank you for sharing. Short and to the point. Im moving down there in the spring from Buffalo NY (don't worry, Im not bringing any bad NY vibes with me!) Videos like this definitely help me do my homework before I make the move. Im in the mortgage business but will probably rent before buying although the move will be long term. Just subscribed. For a smaller town feel, almost like Key West, but with a great nightlife. Delray Beach, Florida. It's been a secret destination for years especially for snowbirds, but now it has a flavor all its own with great restaurants, immaculate beaches on the Atlantic Ocean, a slight slower pace, however the winter months it could get a little hectic. Love the weather, sea breezes, amazing foody type restaurants. Incredibly fun nightlife and it's much safer than Miami / Fort Lauderdale.

Good accurate video about Brickell. Also the noise is higher than most other areas. It's pricey to live and enjoy all the amenities. However if you're a transplant from other more expensive cities, i.e. NYC - you'll find Brickell / Miami a bargain. Foot note: Brickell is a burrough or neighborhood of Miami, not a city within Miami.

I called Brickell. The DISNEYLAND of Miami. Because of the Free Tram , that runs around that part of Miami. I prefer to walk around Brickell. The whole area is beautiful.

What's not to love about it probably one of my top 5 places I stayed back when the it was the Viceroy now the W hotel sad they sold it.. Good times felt super safe good food and multicultural yes its expensive but well worth it.

I grew up in Brickell in the 80s-90s... went through Hurricane Andrew in 92' and Biscayne Bay flooded onto my Neighborhood on 1st Ave, literally right across from the Brickell Station. So yeah, I would say it's prone to flooding eventually.

Love this question! no way it is not hard to get a job if you only speak english. Everything here is done in english however yes there is spanish everywhere at all times but that doesn't make it difficult to live and strive :)

Yes, it is hard to find a job if you only speaking English. I relocated to Brickell from NYC 17 years ago via a transfer with a large corp. After 10 years in Miami I left said organization, with 25 years of experience, simply for change and I learned a hard hard lesson. In the end it depends on your field, though it's hard to find a job position that does NOT stress Spanish required. My degree didn't matter, my oozing experience didn't matter. All that mattered was that my black ass can not speak Spanish. That said, Miami is a mecca for entrepreneurship and starting a business is easier than finding a job if you are not bi-lingual. Also, salaries here are low balled like crazy, hence if you can transfer from another state and bring your salary with you, even better. If you have a dream and some drive you can flourish in Miami as a self starter. Good luck!

@@LivingInMiami Yes,I live in Coral Gate next to Shenandoah,Silver Bluff and Coral Gables, I wouldn't live in Brickell even if they pay me ..Brickell doesn't even have a public Park ..with a decent, at least 33 meters heated pool..a POOL not a cat condo POND!¡😖😖😖That place is a tourist trap for foreigners & Domestic outsiders!¡😗

I don't know why people would move to brickell.its a very expensive place to live small and congested areas.nothing is charming me at all .i would never anyone to come here its a headache and stressful place.
