Everything is beautiful. One caution on using old dishes. Be sure to research for lead on the dishes. My daughter had some and after doing some research decided not to eat off them. Just use for display.

How do you keep bed on the porch from getting wet? It seems very impractical.

I have a large daybed on my porch it has been there about 20 years. It never gets wet some times the pillow covers and decorative cover for the mattress can feel damp if it rains or if it gets really humid but never had any mold problems. Plus I wash the covers every few weeks. I would recommend a mattress cover to keep staining and moisture from getting to the mattress.

Our porch is 8 feet deep so it doesn’t get rained on. I use all thrifted linens out there, which I wash every couple of weeks. The mattress and box spring are encased in plastic mattress protectors with zippers 💗
